Not at all. They don't mention Scalextric, the brand by name and they've taped over all the Scalextric logos (bar the one they missed if you're eagle eyed. )

That's the date in the BBC archive. It cannot be that date because it's a Wednesday. Dunno then.
That was the day of taping, not the broadcast date.
