MEO FUSCIUNI PERFUME POETRY - LUCE & ENCORE DU TEMPS

- When I first discovered the Meo Fusciuni fragrance's, instantly I knew something was different; something else was going on, other than a beautiful fragrance.
I had the opportunity to actually meet Meo in June this year and my thoughts (and feeling for his work) was confirmed....the man is a poet. He's just expressing this poetry through divine scents.
LUCE was my first Meo Fusciuni fragrance that I fell in love with and ENCORE DU TEMPS is the latest inclusion in my collection (that has become my wife's personal favourite)

I'm in love with perfume and beautiful smells. I deeply love niche perfumes and find that they are unique and incredibly diverse. I am Marcelo and I'm the Niche Fragrance Collector.

Meo Fusciuni is one of the most clever, poetic and deep nose actually. Every perfume is an olfactory voyage.
Totally agree with you Edoardo💪🏽⚡️ Thanks for jumping into this conversation my friend👊🏽
I love it when perfume turns into olfactory poetry. I think that Italian perfumers such as Meo Fusciuni or Filippo Sorcinelli are the best at doing that. Telling an entire story thru the perfect blend of notes in a perfume is truly an art. Thank you for this review.
Totally agree with you Bogdan. It's such a joy to experience these types of fragrance's and feel the journey that the perfumer wants to share with you, and then, it's a beautiful perfume that makes you and those around you happy....I love it!
Great to hear from you my friend, thanks for jumping into this conversation👊🏽
What fragrances from filippo sorcinelli do you like ..?
You're really the only reviewer who truly REVIEWS the fragrances - delve deep into the history and understand how these houses and perfumers construct their creations and talk about what inspired them or what could have at least been their train of thought when they put together these beautiful concoctions we are coming to know and love, through you! Thank you, Marcelo! A legend already! 🔥
Thank you Vera; you're very generous with you comments. Really appreciate the incredible support and encouragement.
I'm so happy that these type of episodes are resonating with others, as I too love delving a deeper to understand their motivation as I see this as perfume art (and yes we get to smell good too!!)
Thank you again Vera for your positive vibes and energy; it is felt and appreciated⚡️👊🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Yes I enjoy learning and watching through all the different kinds of series of videos that you put out Marcelo! Thank you!! Have a brilliant week ahead 😄
Thank you Vera⚡️❤️
Awww you said his name correctly. You’re the only reviewer to do so. Small victories. Seriously, I am so enamored with this House. His fragrances are so calming, beautiful, and therapeutic. Thank you for featuring him and his work once again. B🤯 🤯M
Boom Baby!!! After that faux-pas throughout the entire interview😕 I had to redeem myself here!! The funny thing is that I've been saying his name the other way everywhere here in Australia and no one said anything to me.
Then the entire interview, I'm saying it and Meo (being the gracious man that he is) never corrected me. It wasn't until the Mate Talk that I did with him, that I asked him if I'm saying it right that he said, "ah no, it's pronounced...."😩
But hey live and learn!!
I do love his work and yes, I was looking forward to creating this episode. I'm going to do another one on both L'oblio and Odor 93. Great to hear from you Shiva....out of interest where are you based in the world?
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I guess it’s psychological. The few here in the States that review his fragrances say Foo-chean-ni also. Lol. BTW,.. I’m gonna keep on you about this…. A Collection Video? That would be a spectacular end of year gift.
My Girlfriend said that I idolize your collection. Fair point. 🤩
Hola Marcelo, hope U are having an awesome weekend.
Been waiting for Meo Fusciuni's review..
I recently found them here localy but didnt venture to get one blind .. until now ;)
Wish you a great week ahead. !
Un abrazo
Ricardo
Hola Ricardo! Whoa it's been 2 weeks that this comment has been here!! I'm trying, I promise!!!
Did you get a chance to test this yet? Blind buying is scary business, I don't recommend (even though I'm personally in love with these fragrance's)...curious to know your thoughts.
Great to hear from you homie💫
Thank you very much Marcelo, it was a great pleasure for me. Meo
Thank you Meo🙌🏽 So wonderful to have you comment and grateful for the chance to have met and connected with you and Federica🤎
EYE LEARNED MORE IN THIS EPISODE THAN ALL MY YEARZ OF PUBLIC SCHOOL...GOB BLESS U & YOUR LOVED ONES
Thank you Julio...so happy that you enjoyed this episode. I do enjoy doing my research and love reviewing in a different way. Appreciate the support and encouragement homie🙌🏽
I own only one of Meo's works, Odor 93. Work of art.
Beautiful, Marcelo. From one brick to another.
Thank you Anna🙏🏼....we might be bricks, but we aspire to be that beautiful arch❤️
I have to get this...,love the interview you did as well. Good look Marcelo 💯 Oh yes, Jungle Fever, good movie....and as always, the history lesson is VERY much appreciated.
Yes, I'd recommend Meo's fragrance's....this is another creative soul like Alessandro.
Where Alessandro is over the top with his notes and marketing. Meo is soulful and poetic...but both are Italian😎
And yes, I do love the earlier work from Spike Lee. He was 'hungry' then. These movies were electric to me. I remember watching as a young 20 year old "Do the Right Thing" and fell in love with his style and storytelling style instantly🤯
Thanks Fred, always good to hear from you mate👊🏽
Great review.
A small addition to “encore du temps”. Encore is a word that translates differently to English depending on the context. It can be translated as “still”, as you mentioned, and ha more of a positive, hopeful connotation. But it can also be translated as “more”, as in “please sir, I want some more”. So from this translation, encore du temps is like asking for more time, which is more on the sad, begging side of the interpretation
Great to hear from you Luke and always wonderful to gain your insight on the nuance's of the French language....thank you for sharing that.
I too felt that it was the second meaning as you described here. There's a great song by the same name of "Encore du Temps" from the French musical "Le Roi Soleil", in which one of Louis lovers is singing that she wants more time (consistent with your comments here).....I was going to bring this up, but I always allow the 'moment' to take me and share what comes naturally and this didn't come up in the end.
Thank you Luke, my outstanding and passionate French Tutor🙏🏽💫
goodmorning great content as always you are truly a great story teller keep up the great work
Thank you Antonio🙏🏼 appreciate the support my friend...I'm glad that you enjoyed this episode. I'm a big fan of Meo as a person and really love his fragrances❤️
Thanks for jumping into this conversation👊🏽
👌
Thank you sir!🙏🏼
Wow I am waiting for this review since the mate talk with Meo .
Sorry it took this long to happen!! It's been so crazy busy, but happy that I finally did this...hope you enjoyed this Luis💫
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector claro que lo disfrute , son las mejores reseñas
Thank you for this review Marcelo! And I’m looking forward to your reviews of other Meo Fusciuni fragrances. I discovered this niche house through you and I was so taken by the artistry behind it after watching your interviews with Meo. I could have ordered it online but I don’t usually blind buy special fragrances like this - I think that they are in the highest level of niche perfumery that I personally believe they deserve to be experienced in-person before purchasing. I’ve just returned from Stockholm and I specifically sought out the boutique which stocks Meo Fusciuni fragrances. In fact, that was one of my considerations for choosing Stockholm for my short trip over the weekend (haha, the choices we frag-heads make). I came in to try Little Song and found this to be the “true” coffee scent that I was looking for - like being alone in a solitary corner of a café journaling and reflecting on random thoughts with no rush for the next appointment. I also ended up falling for Odor 93 - beautiful scent and so comforting but mysterious and complex that this one is quite hard to describe in words - perhaps like standing in a foggy/misty part of the mountain or forest and I can think of myself standing there all wrapped up in my thickest coat and scarf at the edge of Cabo da Roca in Sintra, Portugal, the westernmost point of Europe. I love ❤️ both Meo Fusciuni scents and I’m interested to hear your thoughts on them in future reviews. Your reviews here are so well thought out and profound. I may have said several times but I truly appreciate the quality of the production and content that you put in these videos.
Firstly my apologies for the very late response your incredible comments here.
Secondly I love that your travel itinerary revolves around testing fragrances… that’s showing true commitment💫
Totally agree with you that the Meo fragrances need to be experienced… Not something that you blind buy. I love the way you defined both little song and Odor 93; I love the poetry in your dialogue.
I’m excited to announce that I am returning to Italy in March, and there is a high chance that I will be filming with Meo again. I’m hoping to review some fragrances alongside the master
I want to thank you for reaching out. And thank you for this very detailed comment that you shared him…. Awesome to connect with you @Gen O❤️💫
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Wow, exciting times and looking forward to your fragrance adventures in Italy! More scents to explore and Italy is one of the best places for these.
Thanks @Gen O💫🙏🏼 Yes, looking forward to this and the productions that will come out of this adventure🎉😎
Meo Fusciuni….a great perfumer!
Totally agree with you @Pennydome💫
Power to you 😏✌️💪
Thank you Sir🙏🏼💫
Gotta be early 🎉
Boom Baby!! 💫
And yet I'm late to respond😩 great to hear from you John👊🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I’ve been out for awhile and couldn’t see your videos on time. Good to be back! Take care, and continue to make awesome videos. It’s mind boggling to see high quality videos with a younger channel like yours. But of course, that can’t take away the years of experience from THE Niche Fragrance Collector. 🎉
Can u talk about Little Song pls, I feel interesting in Little Song. Thanks alot 😊
Good morning Marcel,i been wondering, are ambery fragrances good for autumn?
I feel that ambery fragrance's are perfect for cooler autumn/fall weather. I love the warmth these type of fragrance's provide....however I have a close friend (Kevin from Oligarch) who is also a big perfume lover and he loves ambery fragrance's in summer!
I think it's about what you love. I would recommend you test out a few and see how they resonate. I find that a nice patchouli based fragrance is perfect for autumn both as a scent and for longevity on skin (performs well in cooler weather).
Good luck Eduard, curious to know how you go with this
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector thank you very much
Where are they available for sale?
Hey Alvin. There are a number of stockists in the US. Have a look at these and see if these work for you: www.meofusciuni.com/stockists
Good to hear from you buddy👊🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector good to hear from as well. I will check them out. 👍🏿
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector which ones did you recommend again?

M'oblio 👃♥️
I totally love L'Oblio🧡 ....clearly you're a Meo Fusciuni fan too @jeliceinchains 💫
Sampled Encore du temps today. Nothing new, just old school classics, disappointed. So far the worst in Meo Fusciuni collection for me
