I just smelled a sample of this and was immediately hit by this feeling of nostalgia. I'm not sure which note evokes this feeling, but it might be connected to the fact that one half of my family is from Calabria and we went there every summer when I was a child, just like the fig leaf you showed. Maybe the fragrance subconsciously reminds me of those summers... As a scent, I wouldn't say this is something I would wear to "smell good", but I will definitely have to have my family smelling this to see if they get the same feeling as me. Thank you for this really nice video and I enjoyed your story telling!

Yes Marcelo you got the point. For me Ciavuru d’amuri is a lucid memory from my grandpa’s vegetable garden. I smell the roots, the fig tree (the green and earthy side), the terrain burnt by the sun. It’s a terrific remembrance for me.

I feel as if Joseph Campbell himself reviewed a niche fragrance. Just when I think you've hit your stride, you take the next step to another level. The movie poster set the visual tone and your description of the fragrance was masterful Marcelo. Between this and getting through the Mercury retrograde I think I'm ok right about now.

XD Great review, as I said previously, I really have to get my nose on Meo's work, but it's nearly impossible to find where I live (and no more blind buy as you so aptly said. Unless....?) I like your take on Campbell's myth and the famous illustration in the star wars saga. Very clever. And it makes me think: How Many posters do you have??? From NFC to NPC?
