I returned to watch this video for at least the third time. The first time was simply because it appeared on my Subscribed timeline. The second time was part of my research about my interest in Leather Tabac. This evening was to hear your perspective again on my recently acquired Leather Tabac. Always great to get perspectives from others on scents that I love. So, I have the last two on your list and just added Milano to my Wish List. Guess I'll revisit this video after I add Milano to my collection. Thanks as always,
Wow. My new and without-a-shadow-of-a-doubt favourite perfume channel! Classy, no unnecessary innuendo, and a pleasure to watch. Love the stories and experiences u bring into the video 👌🏼
What a thorough review. You took me to such a scenic journey. I’m enjoying the day by the river yet I was glued to my phone 20+ minutes not even realizing what was happening in my surroundings. Thank you for the great journey!
Thanks Alex, so glad that you enjoyed this….it was London that inspired me to create this episode. I’ve fallen in love with this fragrance, very much enjoying wearing this♥️ Always good to hear from you mate👊🏽
Marcelo! I recognize some of these, but not all. And I agree with your assessment of niche and what wearing it projects to the world, leather scents and beyond. Like the fragrances you review, keep taking risks and pushing this form forward.
Agree with you on Cuoium, i own it and i rarely wear it, so strong , will last a lifetime! i also like Halfeti leather, it's very nice as is the normal Halfeti version too, some lovely fragrances here
This was a fun one for me, especially after my own recent discovery of French Leather. The rose water element coupled with the burst of lime makes the suede-y leather so supple, approachable, and dare I say … sexy. At least that’s the reaction I get from my husband. 😉 Very curious to sample some of your other suggestions now, too. And Marcelo. Your videos and production quality are so well done. I love these focused spotlights as well as your chatty Maté Talks. Thank you for sharing your work so beautifully and personally! Cheers to you and Sandra! Anna
I love Milano and you're right it transports you to a special olfactory impression of being on holidays in Milan. Erba Pura meets Tuscan leather. Very underrated and very versatile. Classy, but wearable like a fine leather jacket.

Fantastic review! Widian London is similar to ombré Leather and Sellier by Byredo in terms of that remarkably clean and very expensive smell of leather. However, London smells just a ted more expensive, refined and sophisticated. Thank you!

Almost agree with you on niche..but how many crappy releases are released each year? And how many smell generic like designer frags? And its funny that you start with a Tuscan Leather clone
Yep, the market is definitely getting hit hard with new releases each year...you should have seen Esxence 😳 you would be surprised at how much the niche market is growing!! I didn't think that it was like Tuscan leather (I remember this one being a lot more leather pronounced) but admittedly I haven't smelt these side by side...will need to check this out and report back🫡 Great to hear from you @gndiaspereira, thanks for sharing👊🏽
Thank you for this recommendation Nathan. This is a brand that we don't have here in Australia so haven't had the chance to test....looking forward to coming across this on my next travels. Appreciate you jumping in and sharing👊🏽
Good question. I really wanted to include French Leather because of the backstory on leather and how this confirms that 'yes' traditionally French leather products were (and still are) scented with a slight rose note....so I didn't want to have 2 from Memo. But in truth the real one that I wanted to include from Memo is actually Italian Leather...have you tested this? It's really unique; incredible fragrance Great to hear from you @porousdumasia3256, thanks for jumping into the conversation
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector i loved italian leather over the african one too, but both are absolute amazing. From your list i have only the London one, a great scense, to me is very elegant and complex, but the most complements i get with ombre leather :)

Do you have an accent? I can’t tell! UK or a Boston accent?
Almost agree with you on niche..but how many crappy releases are released each year? And how many smell generic like designer frags? And its funny that you start with a Tuscan Leather clone
Not a clone lol

Yep, the market is definitely getting hit hard with new releases each year...you should have seen Esxence 😳 you would be surprised at how much the niche market is growing!!
I didn't think that it was like Tuscan leather (I remember this one being a lot more leather pronounced) but admittedly I haven't smelt these side by side...will need to check this out and report back🫡
Great to hear from you @gndiaspereira, thanks for sharing👊🏽
You sprayed him without his permission?
We’re close friends…he understood where I was coming from
You forgot Qa'ed Al shabab by Lattafa in this list
Thank you for this recommendation Nathan. This is a brand that we don't have here in Australia so haven't had the chance to test....looking forward to coming across this on my next travels.
Appreciate you jumping in and sharing👊🏽
Why not African Leather ?
Good question. I really wanted to include French Leather because of the backstory on leather and how this confirms that 'yes' traditionally French leather products were (and still are) scented with a slight rose note....so I didn't want to have 2 from Memo.
But in truth the real one that I wanted to include from Memo is actually Italian Leather...have you tested this? It's really unique; incredible fragrance
Great to hear from you @porousdumasia3256, thanks for jumping into the conversation
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector i loved italian leather over the african one too, but both are absolute amazing. From your list i have only the London one, a great scense, to me is very elegant and complex, but the most complements i get with ombre leather :)
Hi Marcelo. I just subbed. I’m a big fan of Leather Tabac. George is a great guy. Love his fragrances. I’d like to have you on a one on one livestream on my channel if you’re interested. I look forward hearing from you. Nima.
Great to hear from you Nima; thank you for your support (I did likewise😇) Yes, I do love the positive energy that George has and he’s very much involved with the perfume community. I love would to join you on a Livestream! I replied to your DM, let me know your thoughts and we can organize something.
Thanks again Nima, speak soon👊🏽
😂 i swear my wife do the same when i ware leather fragrance
How funny is that! You should try Etui Noir….I’d be curious to know if this is too strong for your wife. As I mentioned Sandra doesn’t mind this fragrance on me and the advantage is that this perfume is amazing 🤩

Haven't had a chance to test this as yet; need to go out and try. Thanks for jumping into the conversation @hamzaabdessameddjennane7098
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector and Guerlain cuir intense is a really good leather fragrance one of the best in my collection
too much words. slow down man!
Yes🫡
Salamanca from Olympic Orchids is my no 1 leather fragrance for me, such a unique signature scent!
Going to have to try out this one! This is a brand that I’m not familiar with, as we don’t seem to have here in Australia…. I just had a look now online and the brand overall looks super impressive.😍
Thanks for reaching out and for the recommendation💫
Yesterday just got Godolphin from Parfums de Marly and I was really so happy to find out that the Mate 🧉 note is very prominent(to my nose) and it goes great with the saffron and leather.
