I think for the metal to read better it needs more contrast in the values! Darker darks and high spec shine, especially for things like silver/gold! Otherwise tho, really stunning paintings, I've been in such an art block but I love drawing monsters! I'm gonna try this myself!!
What would you say are your favorite advantages of using Photoshop? I can’t convince myself to finally really learn it haha, I’m too comfortable in procreate.. but I want to motivate myself XD
funfact the “iconic frankenstein monster” is a design copyright(or trademarked) by universal studios, a lot of the major recognizable elements like the green skin and bolts
Okay first of all HOW DO YOU KEEP TRACK OF SO MANY LAYERS, but I think with the metal, you're going to want it to have really colorful lighting. On the right earring, you're going to want most of it to be green, rather than having so much blue. You also need duller shadows, rather than tinting it blue like you would for most other things. And of course, I found that a dodge/burn tool helps to make it shiny. Hope this helps!
Wow your videos and process are always so inspiring💜 I am team Frankenstein🧟 but the vamp girl is so incredible too honestly two amazing pieces that put me in the best spooky mood🎃🦇💜
I think you probably need a singular direct light source with your pieces. I think the features are rendered beautifully but it looks flat because there isn’t a sense of lighting unifying everything.
Love both of these but Frankenstein is my favorite!! :) it’s so cool to watch you learn like this and talk about the process- it’s just such a cool insight on learning over all! And even though I as a viewer think all your works are incredible, I am also so excited to see where you are going with these and what that progress looks like for you! Thank you for just taking us along on that journey ❤️ Also ps- I think your style looks very current and interesting and so much fun! No idea where you are getting the early 2000s thing from 😅
Love both of them! You are a truly inspiring person. the fact that you always try to improve, just motivates me. kinda gives me hope as a 20 year old artist that there is still time for me to enhance my skills. Recently i've been feeling overwhelmed with the fact that i am lacking the experience and knowledge in digital art, but with the hard work i can improve.
Hi, Jackie, could you please make a video teaching how to do animation for people who aren't designers? Like using some online software to do something fun and easy? thanks.
Just found your channel from a short, love love love your style and your way of describing things is so simple and easy to understand. I appreciate that.
Can you make a video on how it is to be a charakter designer? is it mostly at home, do you have an office(own office or in a company), are there more online meetings than in person, how does is look like when you have to come up with a new idea, do you get traits and descriptions, do you get the story, do you have to animate them yourself, what's about deadlines, how long does it take until you agreed on the finished charakter? I thought a video like that would be really interesting, since I haven't really seen one of those yet. I am sorry if I have missed a video like that.
jackie i think u should do a series where you get characters you’ve made and make them into guys. I CANNOT DRAW MEN FOR THE LIFE OF ME!!! and maybe how u draw them will help 😔
For the Vampire I really like how the bats and her dress also look like a closed eye. I love to imagine that when she uses her power those eyes, Kinda open and glow
The metal looks off because it's not enough contrast and the shading doesn't work. I think you forgot to shade some of the things on your piece differently. It looks strange because it's too uniform.
The metal doesn't look like metal because it isn't reflecting any of the nearby colors.
Can we take a minute to talk about jackie‘s hair?? It looks amazing
It reminds me of Sylvie's hair in Loki s2, and I love it!
Why would you need a minute to talk ?

Whoa your painting level improved a lot ! I love it, especially the frankestein one 👌

I could be wrong but I thought maybe subtle reflections of the green skin might also help
I’ve gotten so comfortable drawing in Procreate, I literally forgot what advantages there are to drawing in Photoshop… 😅
How did you comment 3 days ago?

@@RandompostsbyAnsleigh no, I'm not a time travler. Lol I'm one of Jackie's patrons. She shared the link early on her discord.

loving the new wolf cut!! I have one too and they're such a fun hairstyle ❤
I think you feel like 2000's because of the golorilazz art style, but I don't see it that much like it

Why don't you sell more fandom posters on your online shop? I would love to buy the avatar poster or another fandom one

I loved the first chain more because looking at the overall design it fit in more cohesively with the chunky earrings and the head bolts.

Wow! You really did improve in painting!🤌✨Also, I’m team Frankenstein, she’s cool, and the artwork has more depth to it, then the first one, I think.
