I 100% get where those who dislike this series are coming from, because it's true that most of the "fixing your art" videos aren't done very well. However, these actually give good critique and talks about how to work certain elements in a stylized way. Because yes, stylization is GOOD, but studying anatomy, colors, etc. are all aspects that are vital to learn as an aspiring artist. Lots of art criticism videos are flat-out bullying and turning stylized art into realism, which is pretty shitty. These give good CONSTRUCTIVE critiques to artists who ASK for them!
People just need to realize that not all critique is bad. **Constructive** critique is GOOD and is something you will HAVE to get used to if you ever want to pursue an art career.

and then I just figured by making their hands be shaped normally, just making it seem that they have no fingers in between their pointers and pinkies, the hands looked a little monstrous and very sharp which i didn't really like, it looks much more natural now

Hello Jackie, I just stumbled upon your channel, I recently started drawing and I am loving your content! I love the constructive criticism and although the "roasting" is done on specific drawings we can all get some tips for our own art. Amazing talent and character!! Also beautiful really cool drawings from everyone!

I love seeing these! But a very personal thing from me, is that I feel like the hand pose in the last one actually works better with her character? (She's from an animated tv show) although I do think it makes more sense in the drawing how you did it, it gives me more like 'I'm pretty' vibes which the character itself doesn't give? Like she wouldn't care about any of that at all. Just my thoughts while watching that :)

The fairy one is a character from a show I used to watch with my little sister. Some of the design choices were intentional, so the ponytail and that bracelet
