George and Glenn have blessed so many people with their music and funny stories. You are so blessed to have had the opportunity to get to travel and learn from true men of faith. God bless you for what you are giving back to us. Love what you are doing.
That was fun! I was fortunate to catch your show at First Baptist Church in Pine Hills, Orlando, Florida...about 1986 or 1987. And later in Atlanta, Georgia. I still love your music and still laugh at George's jokes. God bless you for sharing this. Thank you Brother Ernie 😂
I am thankful that my dad introduced me to these old time Southern Gospel groups. I remember listening to groups like the Cathedral Quartet, the Speer Family, the Blackwood Brothers, the Happy Goodman Family, and the Florida Boys. I love old people I really do!!!
I heard some of these but not all of them thanks for sharing this I sure do miss him he sure could sing amazing I needed this laughter is Good like to medicine I went to the doctor one time and he said if he make the 11th comments it would be for people to laugh
Thanks Ernie 😊💖 The devil gave me a really bad day today I have been fighting a hard battle and the Lord Jesus lead me to hear. " Oh What A Savior " By my buddy Ernie Hasse one of God's warrior tenors! I needed this medicine 💊 more than you could ever imagine. Proverbs is the next book I'm teaching my grandson. Again blessings brother, I may not get to see you in person before heaven but know this I will stop by for a visit Who knows I may be able to sing too lol
My grandmother introduced me to the Cathedrals and I love their music to this day. On a bad day for me a lot of times nothing better can do the trick than listening to Raise The Roof, Standing By The River or This Ole House.
Oh bless his heart. He was filled with the joy of the Lord!!!!!! The boys in the front row were hilarious too. They loved George. Was so sweet to watch them Love George as he sang the laughing song !!!!!
Ernie it was so nice to see this tape. You are right I laughed thru the whole thing. I just love your shows too. I don't know how one man can have so much energy and talent.
This is fantastic! "I love old people" is one of my favorite parts of the George and Glen comedy and this compilation is perfect! Thanks for putting it together!
Ernie, thanks for compiling this collection of George’s humor. How Glen could keep from laughing while George was telling the joke is beyond me. My wife and I were blessed to attend a Cathedral’s concert. Yes you were singing tenor. May God continue to Bless you as you encourage gospel music fans with your singing.
Ernie, thank you SO much for obeying the Spirit in prompting you to post this! The Lord alone knows what we need, even if we don't! I needed this, especially today. Just finished reading Spurgeon's commentary on Numbers 6 on the Aaronic blessing. How true is the Word of God! Praise Him! I pray you are feeling better now & God bless you brother and your family!
Ernie, in 1996, I saw The Cathedrals live in Tulsa; I was twelve years old. It seemed like there was this ongoing bit about how old Glen was; almost if he kept having to be woke up or something! I grew up a huge fan of southern gospel singing, and George, Glen, Scott, and YOU were heroes. It’s truly a privilege to be able to view your RUclips channel and keep tabs on all that is going on these days, and a clip like this from a time when this was so meaningful in my life, is such a treasure.
When Glen was a young boy, the Dead Sea was just sick. So Glen’s wife got a parrot the other day. And for some reason Glen hates that bird. So one day, his wife was surprised to see Glen talking to the parrot. She went closer to hear what he was saying. He was teaching the parrot to say - “Here kitty kitty”
🇧🇷 seu pai era muito engrossado e tinha uma voz linda pena que virou uma estrela no céu eu escuto vocês todos os dias Deus abençoe sempre abraço 👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏❤❤❤
Actually I miss him and he is a bass singer and a comedian or something like that. But when he say those things that make the crowd laugh? It was really funny. He have a lot of stories that he tells.
