Bec Noir was just a dog with new powers avenging his master the Mayor was just an exile who was killed for making a bad decision on what to eat PM was just a messenger who saw and avenged her friend's death but Rose and Dave were the ones who got me the most the look they shared before their death showed that they weren't just an emotionless cool kid and an intellectual book worm they were really just two scared 13 year old kids who just wanted to play a game with their friends

I always get the craziest goose flesh when Dave and Rose ascend. That violin (if I'm correct in assuming that is, in fact, a violin) is astounding, and I lose the ability to breathe for just a second every time I hear it! Not to mention just how fantastic the music composition is in general.
I always have a cardiac arrest when I see these gorgeous fashes, just, makes me so so so happy to be reading such a compex comic, made by the most creative and weird guy ever, that is lucky to have amazing artists contribute to it, making homestuck all the more incredible to read. rewatching it, 8:52 is a huge sock to the gut because now I know that Jade didn't come back to life. when she god tiered, her consciousness wasnt transfered to her dream self. her memories were copied and pasted *into* the dream self and so when it transformed into a god, this jade...isnt the original jade. perfect copy, down to the soul but the original consciousness was still in the original jade (which i hope to god made it into the dream bubbles) given this logic, the original John must have been in the dream bubbles for a very long time before the other original four came along and agh--its a fate worse than death. can you imagine yourself on your deathbed and you see another you flying by and waving? heartbreaking. :((

It's more terrifying to see all your friends again, in the bubbles, but no one remember the same things that you do, or worst, they don't even remember you, because in his reality, you and him never met.

When this happened I was at the peak of my hype for this story. ... Unfortunately that hype took a steep 90 degree turn straight down when I saw what act six was. Probably why I stopped keeping up to date. I'm going to finish reading because I've come this far, but, man ... Oh well, this is still amazing as it ever was.

For those of you who played Undertale, jump to 8:15 and listen for about 20 seconds. Now remember there are 8 human kids. One had his soul absorbed by a monster specializes in the destruction of souls, and survived his own suicide. One is a furry who had an optimistic view of the world, is a bit naive, and spent the most significant part of her life having no control of her body's movements while fully aware of everything and clearly not okay with it. One is indirectly descended from someone who has attempted multiple genocides and is disgusted by most members of her species. There is also a character who killed everyone, tried to restore the world, and became said genocidal character as a result.
This perfectly sums up all the amazing stuff that happened throughout the chapter. My jaw was wide open when watching this. I will watch this, so many times a day, it's not even gonna be funny, and I will never get over how awesome it is. That's it, get in my favorites. NOW.
