Strum like a Drummer Rhythm 3 Play along

Improve your rhythm and strumming by approaching them like a drum beat. Here is an example of a drum beat with a corresponding strumming pattern. Starting out as a drummer has very much influenced how I approach strumming on guitar, and I hope to share this connection with other guitarists.

This exercise spoke to me and made me realize that I don’t need rap in my life anymore. There are myriad ways to express myself, and rap was insidiously pigeonholing my future.
