I hope that Glen Powell stars in more rom coms, he has such amazing charisma. I'm also glad that "Set It Up" hasn't received a sequel... So far, at least. It's perfect as a standalone.
'Set it up' has a very good couple with awesome chemistry but a weak story. The bosses' love story was boring and forced, taking away the young couple's screen time. I hope we will see another romantic comedy with Glen and Zoey in the future (they have great chemistry and connection) but this time with a better-written storyline.
I remember people were so invested in their relationship that when they found out Lana was dating her then-boyfriend, now fiance Anthony de la Torre, people were sending Anthony death threats to the point that Lana had to tell everyone that her professional and personal life should be separated and her relationship with Noah is for professional reasons. This isn't the first time someone from a Netflix production dealt with death threats as we saw Grace Saif, who played Ani in 13 Reasons Why and it got so bad that she was genuinely scared for her safety.

Sorry, but The kissing booth? It´s just about a very immature and toxic relationship (also friendship based on rules) full of manipulation and masculine aggressive behavior. Yes, I'm looking at you Noah. I don't understand why it's on this list.
I am sorry, this is probably the first time that I have disagreed with WatchMojo. "Love, wedding, repeat" has been one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. Waste of time, really.
"The Kissing Booth" movie series is toxic. Noah is a man-child with anger issues and an instinct toward violence and bullying, with a large dash of lying thrown in the mix. Even when he's supposedly getting better, it's clear he still wants to become violent. Being on the edge of violence doesn't make him a changed person just because he doesn't follow through. Even his own brother when seeing Elle injured, mistakenly assumes Noah hit her, because he's got such violent anger management issues. Noah doesn't respect Elle's boundaries and what matters to her. The original movie is barely passable since it ends with him leaving for college, and we can imagine that Elle moves on from her bad boyfriend phase. However, the 2nd and 3rd movie has a triangle with the addition of Marco (Taylor Zakhar Perez aka Alex from "Red, White, and Royal Blue). Marco is a better person than Noah, shares common interests with Elle, listens to her whine about her obnoxious toxic boyfriend, and on top of that, Marco is just objectively hotter than Noah, but Elle cluelessly continues to believe Noah is THE ONE. Elle's initial reaction to seeing video of Marco working out is an over the top rant about how hot he is... That's not the action of someone who is dating someone they consider "the one." Yet she has the nerve to get mad at Marco for *finally* punching Noah in the third movie after Noah humiliates and assaults Marco. This movie series had the opportunity to subvert expectations from the traditional love triangle plot and have Elle pick the guy who was demonstrably a better match, instead she put the bad boyfriend on a pedestal. One of the common hashtags for this movie series is #MarcoDeservedBetter, and yes, Marco deserved far better than to be the third wheel, discarded for toxic Noah. I wish we would've gotten a flash forward showing Marco get a happy ending, because he's more endearing then Noah or Elle.
Every single Black person had a non black partner... we have a MsMojo, can we get a BlkMojo so movies like Love Jones, Poetic Justice, Last Holiday, Jumping the broom, Woo and many others can get recognition. 😂

"To All the Boys" gave me unrealistic expectations to how my love life would pan out. Noah Centineo and Lana Condor had such sweet, natural chemistry.

@@kamsismithThat's horrible, when are people going to realise that actors are NOT their characters? 🤦🏽♀️

@@kamsismith agree, some of these 'fans' are insane!
Set It Up was predictable, but I enjoyed it enough
Seconded, it doesn't matter if the story is predictable, as long as the leads are likable, and the chemistry is palpable.

THE KISSING BOOTH is pure poison
The jabs at the hallmark movies is not needed. I love the simple formula of a good hallmark movie. A lot of these movies have toxic relationships.
To all the boys I've loved before. Happy sunday afternoon, Rebecca, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
