Great comparison video! I purchased the dh gate version three years ago and all these years later i still use it every single day. I thought i was just testing to see if i wanted to splurge on the actual but it works so well i just keep using it. I will say mine still looks brand new and it was a good $40 purchase.

Thank you for your review, sometimes cute accessories and stationery don’t need to spend $1,000. I learn alot from these professional leather tailor and they can tell each Louis Vuitton items sometimes only cost $200 to $300 to produce but charge $2k $3k

Love your video, very detailed comparison! Sometimes you just need some cute stationary but dont want to pay the price, sometimes use. I would prefer vintage I love their aged canvas but I like the DH Gate come in handy❤

Julia, you can get a lot of pen marks with some fragrance free lotion and Qtip. It’ll take you a while but there are ways to remove the pen marks

@@JuliaB2 Amodex ink & pen remover is a bit costly , but it’ll do the trick faster. I used to work for LV in their USA manufacturing and though I made the Artsy, Graceful , Neverfull and the IENA LV bags , I hit really good at repairing . So if you ever want the in’s and outs of LV secrets, hit me up .

Lol, I have the authentic LV agenda and my authentic self is more towards the ratty style you described than the outfit all put together style - not ratty per se, but definitely au casual, absentminded ponytail and all! 😂 Sometimes it costs $ to look poorly, lol.
I have seen so many ugly knock offs, but that DH Gate one is nicer than expected.
The look is similar, but if I had a real one and my co worker had fake one and we work together and we’re using them every day, probably within the first month the fake would start to show the fakeness lol

I have an authentic desk agenda in the DE print and Paul notebook in monogram print. I love both of them. But so I could switch and not wear out my Paul notebook cover I purchased a custom B6 size desk agenda in monogram and love it! You can’t tell at all.
Girl I looooovveee the red in the Paul but I just haven’t bought one yet. I also liked the one that had the lock but that one got discontinued.

Yes I’m enjoying it. It feels like the bags it def feels different from the DH one
It is very wise to keep the expenditure in the zone where you will feel most comfortable with actually using the item, rather than being afraid to use something expensive; but that being said, because it’s a cover it’s perpetually useful and being real leather it can be taken care of well enough to be passed down the generations. If you do the cost break down of hours of use per cost that expensive item can end up being waaaay more affordable than a cheaper version that wears out and needs replacement. All hobbies (including writing/planning) are a luxury expense, but there are real health benefits to having hobbies, so you shouldn’t feel guilty about spending within your means, in support of your activity. I am also a knitter and yarn can be expensive, but it’s cheaper than going to the movies or a monthly cable tv bill, if you do the cost division by hours of enjoyment/use - so don’t feel guilty about dropping a large sum at once, you’re really saving money because the multiple smaller sums for the same amount of hours would be a lot higher cost.

It’s appears to be canvas to me but it cld be a cheap leather idk. I always thought the interior of the LV was canvas unless u got the leather planner.
@@JuliaB2 I’ve always heard the replicas use lots of plastic that contain toxic chemicals hence that strong chemical smell that’s comes along with certain dupes. But yes most of the LV slg’s that are canvas on the outside are either vachetta or a different kind of leather on the inside. It’s what makes them so durable, not to mention the canvas itself is made to last as well. Anyhow was just wondering.. thanks & have a sweet day 😊

Luxury goods lose their cache if everyone is walking around with a knockoff. People now know you carry some knockoffs. I only looked on youtube for ideas after I purchased the real thing. Would you be flattered if you produced an upmarket product and someone started selling knockoffs of your product?
@@johndoe-vf4un I don’t care about luxury goods that much! It’s a piece of canvas with someone I’ve never met, n will never meet initials on it. Ppl put too much importance on non important things. It’s a planner it can’t feed me nor provide me shelter. Plus if I were in business knowing the mass can’t even afford to buy my items y wld I care what the poor do seeing I’m not pricing my items for the normal wage worker any way. That LV planner cost more than someone’s 2 week check. Or 1/4 of someone’s income so I don’t care about no luxury good “losing their cache”
LV still making the money they supposed to make seeing those who can afford to buy will buy and will buy a lot.
Let’s talk about this. Most ppl can’t afford the real deal let alone a good quality knock off so John I don’t care that much about materialistic stuff for it to bother me in all honesty.
