Great job and I love to see people trying to repair and reuse things rather than just trashing them for trhe gatbage heap. Your cute nephew learned a valuable lesson from his uncle. Keep up the good work!
I thank you for doing this. It wish you had showed close-ups of testing and the steps in the repair. I've fixed a lot of things like washers and dryers so am not a dummy. I'm baffled by fuses, continuity, etc. Electrical stuff. Can't find any videos close to the information in your video. Maybe I will be able to figure it out. If I do, it's thanks to you.
Good info, most people just throw things away.. when they could literally fix in 30-45m & under a buck. Probably took longer putting that soldering wire back into the tube lol
I checked mine, and opened it up. Did initially not see anything wrong so plugged it in and closed the bottom vacuum cover. The motor turned the fan for a second but noticed a spark from the motor. Disconnected to power cable and on close inspection noticed that one of the motor brushed was black and connection on the other side of the plastic that holds the positive screw was all melted/fused together. Too much hassle to replace the brushed and make it work so it’s going te be scrapped. Still thanks for the video!
I have a worx wg509 and I cannot take the upper and lower vacuum tube apart. Do you know what I can use to do it? there are 3 push tabs but you cant push them in easily and how does a person do all 3 at the same time and try to pull the bottom tube apart? Help!
I received a new one and didn't work... later figured out micro switches near the suction was the issue. All I had to do was to tighten like a mofo and it worked!
Have the same one. Took me like a minute to diagnose. Bad switch. I'm gonna jump around the switch til I get a new one. Also my fuse wasn't taped like that. It was more factory
Hi, I like to fix and keep stuff out of the land fill too! I had a very similar leaf blower problem which I show here: ruclips.net/video/yZ3B7deK59M/видео.html

subbed! love to give a second use to items that require a simple fix

Lets say my problem's a burn out fuse. What kind of fuse to replace it with? Also, do you absolutely need a soldering iron?
The fuse blowing is an indicator of another problem, just replacing it will most likely lead to it being blown again
My worx blower is not blowing, but I can turn it on what can be the issue. Thanks n advance ❤

Is this better than worx trivac?

Good work
Hi have the same blower how do you take the blower attachment apart
It was a bit of a pain. If I remember correctly you have to press down on the plastic tab and twist.
Opened mine up a small spring fell out do not no where it came from
I am having the same problem with mine. It was a replacement for a defective one, and after just one use, it is defective, too. B&D should be ashamed
Iawsome vid

Good work!
I'm not good at what you are doing.
