I’m doing this piece now and I feel like it means something very important to each and everyone on of us in the honors choir. It brings such peace to everyone. I am only in middle school so I really believe that when I sing this as a senior I will feel something so incredible because I know it will be different later in my life.
TEXT by Frank Ticheli Sing, Be, Live, See. This dark stormy hour, The wind, it stirs. The scorched earth cries out in vain: O war and power, You blind and blur, The torn heart cries out in pain. But music and singing Have been my refuge, And music and singing Shall be my light. A light of song, Shining Strong: Alleluia! Through darkness, pain, and strife, I'll Sing, Be, Live, See... Peace.

All good until the last chord. I felt like I was overconducting and overcontrolling the piece; it needs to be more organic.
