Yeah it sucks for motorsport, but it's changing. If most of the population drives electric then there's more fuel left over for racing. Imagine WEC, F1 all electric. No thank you.
When you buy a ticket for WEC on Spa can you walk around the track freely to see different corners? Or are you restricted to a general area of the track?
@@KevBoy3D I always park at the same parkinglot. I think it's called the "yellow" carpark. It's near the straight that leads to Eau Rouge/Raidillon. Never a problem for me, but I always go early. Especially at an event like Spa 6 Hours, which has large crouds.
Sadly the field is getting quieter because of turbocharged engines. But gladly the Porsches are loud, at the grand stand (with the roof) at the straight down to Eau Rouge/Raidillon it can be pretty loud.
No, I just mist it. I was walking next to Eau Rouge when it happened, I saw a cloud of smoke and heard a huge bang. I don't know if somebody filmed it, at Eau Rouge/Raidillon are mostly photographers. I've seen it only on the WEC channel.
I hope some videos will emerge one day. Have you seen the one photo of the actual crash that's on the internet? The car it's like in the air, but really high. I think at least 3 Meters above the ground

Yes, turbo's ruin the sound. There are good sounding turbo cars but the new Aston and BMW M8 and 488 are not one of them. :( Ford GT sounds alright.

You're not restricted, you're free to go anywhere. Even a pitwalk with autograph signings from all the drivers.
