Just got back last week from Thailand, been going for 50 yrs, food has gone downhill not has many street food stalls due to new rules and malls have huge food floors where the food is cheap and they have AC. The commercializations of pork/chicken production and probably importation of meat products from Australia etc has reduced the free range/organic raising of chickens and pork cause the flavour isn’t as good. Really miss the 70’s but glad I was there in my mid teens it was the best of times.

The land of smiles? I found this not true. The people are very polite, and very calm. I felt safe at any hour anywhere. My travels in Mexico and Central America, I found the people more inclined to make eye, contact smile and say good morning, than in Thailand. Eye contact and a smile, in Thailand? Nope. NOT.

Great presentation but missing the history of Cambodia which was Siam aka Thailand territory for 4 centuries before France stole it to be their French - Indo China colony. They grew poison tress in that land and cause us suffer with never-ending cultural treats until today.
