What I noticed about Thais is that they genuinely love their ruler (King). It's like the King and his court are a member of their household/family. It's quite a breath of fresh air seeing these people and how they only have nice and genuine words to say about their King.
Some of them don't love their king. It's just that it is a crime to say bad things about the king and the royal family so no one says anything wrong. People are afraid to be punished.
Went to Bangkok last year... Missing the place so much. Thailand is so rich in culture, people are very nice, Food is very cheap and transportation is so efficient.

I stayed in Thailand for 5 months and I can say that they are very welcoming to tourist (alien) tawag nila. Masarap din mga food lalo na sa province very reasonable price. Very disciplned students. Rich then sa tourist destinations. Tips: Maganda sa ChiangMai, Phetchaburi,Monkey Temple, Khao Kho, Caves.
When I was in highschool in early 00's I befriended another student that had just moved to the States from Bangkok. We connected. I'm the one that taught him all the American cuss words 😆 His father gave up his job as a police officer back home and worked a 9-5 at Big Easy restaurant downtown so that his son could receive better education. I spent almost everyday with them for about 3 or 4 years. I slowly started to learn about them and where they came from. I developed a fascination with Thailand. The people, the food, culture ECT. They were such a beautiful people. They made me feel welcome and part of their family. Since high school me and Peck (my friend) have slowly drifted apart but I'm forever grateful for my experience with them. I think we both learned allot from each other and I've always been interested in anything Thai. I'd absolutely love to visit Bangkok one day and see for myself this place I've heard so much about. Such a beautiful place with beautiful people. Holds a special place in my heart forever....

Though I don't really support tourism as a source of income, I think we should still balance out the disparity between tourism from "real" jobs. Real jobs would not only benefit the local flow of currencies, but also future generations from the economic growth it produces.

We've been in Thailand last Dec 2019 and it was really an amazing adventure. So many good places to visit like temples, day & night markets, amusements and food hubs. Most of the foods are spicy and affordable. Bangkok is a busy city with so much tourists. The weather is similar to the Philippines.

Ang BAHA at TRAFFIC, hindi ordinaryong mamamayan na pinoy ang may poblema dyan. Ang mga PULITIKO at GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS ang may kasalanan nyan. Kasi sila ang nag a-approve ng mga yan. Kahit walang SUFFICIENT NA DRAINAGE, construct lang ng construct ng mga building establishments.

Napakaganda talaga ng Thailand. Bangkok pa lang yan. Marami pa silang ibang magagandang lugar tulad ng Sukhothai, Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai na iilan pa lang siguro sa mga Filipinos ang nakakabisita. Mas malinis di hamak ang Thailand kesa Pinas. Airport pa lang ng Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport sobrang malayo sa ganda kesa sa Manila tsaka may train na connected papunta sa gitna ng Bangkok. Golden Buddha? Sa Pinas alamat lng. Sa Thailand totoo hehehe! Canals nila nagagamit na transportation system pati na rin ang ilog nila kasi malinis. Madaming boat operators, maraming trabaho, kasi malinis kung ikukumpara sa Pinas. Ang mga heritage sites nila naaalagaan ng maigi. Sa tagal ko sa Thailand ng 20 days, sa mga tourist attractions/areas nila, wala akong nakitang "aggresive" beggars di tulad sa atin na nahahabulin ka ng mga batang hamog para manghingi ng limos. Thailand's MRT, world-class! Street food. malinis, masarap, punung-puno ng lasa hindi basta me magic sarap lang tapos na. Kahit worth 50 Baht lang order mo, bagong luto at mainit. Madaming gulay, madaming rekado. Hindi tipid sa ingredients. Ang prep meals nila sa supermarket nila, sobrang presentable and appetizing at sobrang mura and worth-it. Biking ba kamo? Maganda mag bike sa Sukhothai. walang nanghahabol na aso, walang pulubi, walang informal settlers na nakaka-threaten sa safety ng mga turista. Does it ring a bell? Intramuros. Dapat gawing model ng Pinas ang research ng Thailand kung paano nila napaganda ng husto ang Thailand at naging #1 Most Visited City in the World of 2016 ang Bangkok. Kapitbahay lang natin pero nalampasan tayo. Nakakaawa talaga Pinas. Sayang talaga. Sana magawa din natin ang track record ng mga kapatid nating Thais.
Aside from Bangkok , kung makapunta ka ng Thailand, puntahan mo rin cities ng Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Phuket, at Chiang Rai at pati mga beaches nila sa Krabi,Trang at Rayong, ang gaganda!

Can u imagine 2015 yata and 2016 for two consecutive years, bangkok had been the most visited in the world not only in asia. Nakakasad na neighboring country lang natin sila pero nagawa nila yon. Sobrang dumi na talaga ng pinas tapos ginang up pa si gina lopez who happens to be the most passionate advocate of environment that i have ever seen in my entire life in the history of the philippines. Tapos pinasara ni digong boracay para luminis at umayos dami nagreklamo. Puro short-term goals lang ina achieve ng mga kababayan natin. They dont seem to think of the long-term effect ng kasalaulaan. I wish Philippines can develop like Thailand because Philippines have potentially to improve. and amazing natural nature. If Philippines more tourism our economy goes up. Daig na talaga tayo ng Thailand pagdating sa disiplina sa kapaligiran. Ang ilog nila kahit kulay brown, halos wala kang makikitang basura. Sana isang araw, mula sa malalim na pagkakahimbing natin ay magising tayo sa katotohanan bago pa mahuli ang lahat at tuluyang bawiin ng Panginoon ang lahat ng kanyang nilikha. We've been in Thailand last Dec 2019 and it was really an amazing adventure. So many good places to visit like temples, day & night markets, amusements and food hubs. Most of the foods are spicy and affordable. Bangkok is a busy city with so much tourists. The weather is similar to the Philippines.

Kuya, may disiplina po ang mga pinoy. ANG GOVERNMENT at ang SYSTEM natin ang dapat mabago. We know how to adapt and adjust to any surroundings. In fact, Filipino Americans ang isa sa pinaka mataas ang INCOME sa USA. Kaya natin pero dapat ang mismong SYSTEM ay MALAKAS at INNOVATIVE din.
Saka wag tayo puro GAYA-GAYA sa American culture gaya sa pagkain. Dito meron buy 1 take 1 hamburger. Eh kung buy 1 take 1 LUMPIA o kaya BANANA CUE yan eh mas patok sa foreigners kasi yun ang reason kung ba't sila pumupunta sa ibang bansa. Para sila makasaksi ng IBANG CULTURE. Eh ang pinas, parang SUBSTANDARD AMERICAN culture. Dapat ang culture natin, mas AUSTRONESIAN at MALAY RACE ang influence.
Ang BAHA at TRAFFIC, hindi ordinaryong mamamayan na pinoy ang may poblema dyan. Ang mga PULITIKO at GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS ang may kasalanan nyan. Kasi sila ang nag a-approve ng mga yan. Kahit walang SUFFICIENT NA DRAINAGE, construct lang ng construct ng mga building establishments.
I agree. Madalas mga Pinoy simpleng candy wrapper itatapon na lang kung saan saan. Di naman ako nagmamalinis na never nagtapon sa kalsada pero as much as I can I throw them at the proper place. Simple traffic rules di din masunod. Mga simpleng bagay at batas na pag sinunod ng bawat mamamayang Pilipino mas mapapadali din siguro ang pag-angat natin. Just my piece. Napakaganda talaga ng Thailand. Bangkok pa lang yan. Marami pa silang ibang magagandang lugar tulad ng Sukhothai, Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai na iilan pa lang siguro sa mga Filipinos ang nakakabisita. Mas malinis di hamak ang Thailand kesa Pinas.
Airport pa lang ng Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport sobrang malayo sa ganda kesa sa Manila tsaka may train na connected papunta sa gitna ng Bangkok. Golden Buddha? Sa Pinas alamat lng. Sa Thailand totoo hehehe!
Canals nila nagagamit na transportation system pati na rin ang ilog nila kasi malinis. Madaming boat operators, maraming trabaho, kasi malinis kung ikukumpara sa Pinas.
Ang mga heritage sites nila naaalagaan ng maigi.
Sa tagal ko sa Thailand ng 20 days, sa mga tourist attractions/areas nila, wala akong nakitang "aggresive" beggars di tulad sa atin na nahahabulin ka ng mga batang hamog para manghingi ng limos.

Street food. malinis, masarap, punung-puno ng lasa hindi basta me magic sarap lang tapos na. Kahit worth 50 Baht lang order mo, bagong luto at mainit. Madaming gulay, madaming rekado. Hindi tipid sa ingredients.
Ang prep meals nila sa supermarket nila, sobrang presentable and appetizing at sobrang mura and worth-it.
Biking ba kamo? Maganda mag bike sa Sukhothai. walang nanghahabol na aso, walang pulubi, walang informal settlers na nakaka-threaten sa safety ng mga turista. Does it ring a bell? Intramuros.
Dapat gawing model ng Pinas ang research ng Thailand kung paano nila napaganda ng husto ang Thailand at naging #1 Most Visited City in the World of 2016 ang Bangkok. Kapitbahay lang natin pero nalampasan tayo. Nakakaawa talaga Pinas.

My home now for 11 yrs ❤ Sobrang bait ng mga Thai medyo kampante ako lalo sa airport wala ng maraming tanong tanong pagpasok 😂 at never pa ako na scam ng mga taxi most of them are genuine and friendly 😢😢 gusto ko din pagkain nila 🥰 at most especially ang culture..

I’ve been many times there. The best place we’ve lived “KRABI” everything around there relaxing beaches and resorts. I wish Philippines can develop like Thailand because Philippines have potentially to improve. and amazing natural nature. If Philippines more tourism our economy goes up. The problem is DANGEROUS FOR TOURIST AND NOT SAFE. EVEN Palawan not safe to go. But I still love you Philippines. Watching from California USA

Daig na talaga tayo ng Thailand pagdating sa disiplina sa kapaligiran. Ang ilog nila kahit kulay brown, halos wala kang makikitang basura. Sana isang araw, mula sa malalim na pagkakahimbing natin ay magising tayo sa katotohanan bago pa mahuli ang lahat at tuluyang bawiin ng Panginoon ang lahat ng kanyang nilikha. Sana maisip din natin kung paano magpahalaga sa mga bagay na nasa paligid natin. Maraming paraan para mabago ang lahat, maaari nating umpisahan sa wastong pagtatapon ng ating basura sa tamang lugar. Hindi pa huli ang lahat at sana magising tayo sa katotohanan.

Parang ang sarap bumalik ng Bangkok. Nakapunta kami jan 2018 to watch Ms. U. Bonus pa kasi we got the chance to see Tawan, Off and Gun. Respect is very essential in Thailand yung mga mamamayan nila kahit nasa public places yung mga artista nila hindi sila katulad nating mga Pinoy na halos magwala. Dumaan sa harap namin sina Tawan, off at Gun ng walang security mga PA yata yung mga kasama nila. Binati lang ng mga tao then go. Bawal mag wala baka ma ban ka during fan meet. Ahahaha
