Hannibal has become the premiere interviewer - great job as always. I love Pierre, he comes across as an "old school" lad who would fight ya in the ring or in the parking lot. #Respect
I believe Aldo Montoya aka Justin Credible aka PJ as well, was a part of the Kliq around that time. Before HHH debuted in April of 95, PJ was traveling with them throughout most of 94. He tells a story about sneaking an 8-ball overseas for HBK & being scared shitless. I hate that no one really talks about it. Glad Pierre does here.
+JoshJonesJr1 Hall & Pac have talked about PJ traveling with them for a couple years . He was carrying HBK, Nash & Hall's bags at one point but so did Pac & HHH when they first joined the KLIQ.
+JoshJonesJr1 you'll have to buy the 1994 WWE Timeline by Kayfabe commentaries with Sean Waltman since you think I'm lying. You have Pierre, a wrestler who was in the back traveling with them every night and you're still acting like you know it all.
As a fan of the NWO and prior to that, I never was a Kevin Nash fan at all not because of his lack of wrestling abilities, but he believed in his own hype which was nothing special of him. PCO was indeed a talented wrestler and I felt he could of been IC champion If It wasn't for the bullS**t politics in the WWF with the Kliq.
Hey again Hannibal "GNW" you guy's are really onto something here with all the shoot video's you have conducted as a whole shoot or breaking them up into segments of importance, which more times than not leads me to watching the Shoot eventually. I've learned so much about the business thru your SHOOTS which as a 41 yrs old fan of good wrestling matches here in Ireland. I'm greatly appreciative and loving learning all about the reality of Pro-Wrestling. It's a tough business and u most definitely deserve a good shot in the WWE as u work so hard, and that's a dying trate within the business. Keep doing what ur doing Brother I absolutely love your work and I wish u all the Best in ur future.. Thanks.. Mick from Ireland. ☺😀
PCO is one of the most underrated workers of all time. That said, yeah......refusing to put over two of the biggest stars on the roster at the time as a mid-card heel with a pirate gimmick wasn't smart. He owns up to it though, so it's fine.
Hall was cool, the coolest of the Kliq for sure. Besides his addictions, I rarely heard people complaining about him. And he's doing much better now, in part thanks to DDP. I saw Razor Ramon vs PCO in a house show during the time he was Lafitte - it must have been during the time all that Nash/Kliq story happened - in my hometown in the province of Quebec and Hall let him win even after giving him the Razor's Edge ( there was a classic "ref getting ko'ed" event near the end that ultimately led Lafitte to victory ). It was a tiny ass arena with a capacity of around 2500 people max lol and it was filled with people to the point that they even sold tickets when they ran out of seats and people were just standing up or sitting on the concrete stairs. Man, wrestling was HUGE back then. Looking back at it, I think Scott Hall, being in the Kliq, could've avoided wrestling PCO that evening because it was such a meaningless show even for house shows but he did come and gave an amazing performance and he really put PCO over. But the truth is PCO should've been over in Montreal AND Quebec... I mean it should've been HIS moment to shine and the Kliq just stole that away from him. The worst thing is that back in the US no one would've given a damn what happened in Montreal a couple of weeks ago. Even Hulk Hogan let Jacques Rougeau pin him back when the nWo was at its prime when Rougeau managed to bring WCW to Montreal. And we know how Hulk had a lot of power backstage and was pretty much a one man Kliq and could control who could beat or not beat him, among other things.
Pierre was right, if Nash jobbed him in Montreal, his push would come to a halt. But the context where he had an issue with Shawn due to not wanting to job to Shawn a few months before - sorry, but Shawn's POV was kinda understandable. If Pierre was smart, he should have seen these guys are at the top, friends with Vince and he should have agreed to the job while kissing their ass and covering himself explaining the Shawn situation. This way, he came off like a moron.
At least he admits that he bought into his own hype. That's better than a lot of wrestlers who still remain delusional about the industry. ** cough ** Bret ** cough **
according to shane doulgas, hbk is behind the beef between nah and pierre here because hbk stand an angle whre pierre couldn´t see him because of his blind eyeand shawn shows nash the moves .
Ricky But Pierre here is admitting it was his fault. In Shane's made up story, the office was telling Pierre to go over and Nash refused. Shane Douglas is full of shit
Actually, if that were true, it just shows how open-minded WWF/WWE were in pushing all sorts of wrestlers, even ones who may not be all that great. This Lafitte wrestler is just like Shane Douglas. They were trying to push you up as far as they could! Just do what they tell you to do and go from there! You're not a booker/writer. You're a performer/employee.
Its simple this dude was from a famous wrestling family from Montreal he thought he was owed something and he wasn't that good yet you don't tell one of the top guys ever that you're not gonna do the job for them period I don't blame Shawn for getting mad how you gonna tell one of the greatest of all time that you're not gonna do the job you've been paid to do ?
Vince's gimmicks are so fucking stupid. Is he a fifth-grader? Hmmm... okay, let's have a garbage man. Then let's do a farmer. Okay, then we can have a samurai. Ooo! Then we can have a viking! After that, we'll have a accountant -- no! A banker! There you go. A whole year's worth of wrestler gimmicks for WWE.
Didn't you listen to the interview? Vince wanted to push him in the US so when he'd come back to Canada/Quebec he'd become huge - by winning in Canada. The Kliq didn't care about that, they only cared for themselves and they bypassed Vince's will. His career in WWE was over the day Nash came to him and told him how the match against him would end. He had no way to avoid it. Either he lost to Nash and his gimmick was destroyed ( and it wasn't his first gimmick in WWE so usually this means it's over ) or he just quit WWE... Either way he was fucked. He couldn't recover from that. The Kliq ruined his WWE career, he didn't.

Nash then got up immediately & started throwing hard shoot punches & jackknifed PCO as hard as he could for the pin - the scheduled finish was another double count. There was then a confrontation backstage between the two that was broken up. Oh & before I forget here are the sources of my claims (Wrestling Observer Newsletter, author Pat Laprade, various Kevin Nash/PCO shoot interviews). Get a clue. You fucking moron.
