really fond of the third phase theme, it seems really simple compared to a lot of the other boss themes in this game with it just being strings, but sections like 12:14 remind a lot of more traditional classic music. it also sounds befitting for dion himself, elegant and striking in its sound, but also quite straightforward, its pretty mellow (cant think of a better word) for a major boss theme and it stood out to me when doing this fight
A lot of Macross love in that Phoenix vs Bahamut solo phase, right down to homages to the Itano Circus. The game wears its inspirations and heart on its sleeve at all times and I love it for that. Amazing OST seals the deal - one of my most favorite FF games ever. Thanks for the great video!
