The lockdown revived my love for poto, it was really magical tbh

I’ve seen the Phantom’s touring show twice and I thoroughly enjoyed them, but my ultimate desire is to see the show with Ramin and Sierra.

The fact that the 25th anniversary tour was Ramin's last full performance of the Phantom is INSANE to me. It was literally perfect

Hands down my favorite casts for Phantom! While every generation has their own faves, I'm honored being able to watch the NY production with my husband 2 weeks ago...thought Madame Giry looked familiar and was so happy to see Maree Johnson was back!☺️

But why the chandelier didn't fall?
I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that there were people in the audience and they probably didn't want people to actually die?
@@paulw858 no, it actually falls in every show. Check it out on RUclips. Some of the chandelier falls look so good and realistic EDIT: check out the one from Las Vegas Spectacular, it's amazing
Because this theatre isn't home to the show in England and for them to get a chandelier big and obscene enough for the Royal Albert Hall would have meant re-working everything they've already figured out for the chandelier at Her Majesty's. It's a special occasion that only ran for three performances in the space, so it would have been a heck of a lot of extra work to make that happen, only to dismantle it again 3 days later. They probably just wanted to save on money and labor.
@@Chishannicon especially considering how many more people you're already having to costume, wig, and pay for rehearsal and performance (that's just on stage, not counting the extra musicians in the pit), and I think that was while running the regular performances at Her Majesty's, so you can't use the costumes being used there (aside from the carryover cast, as their costumes are already assigned).
Then there's bringing in the guest performers at the end from all over.
The budget was already enormous just to pull it off.
