- In today's video, we fix one of the Broncos issues of not having a flat load space with the seats "folded down" and install the Goosegear 50% Seat delete system, to make more room on those small overland trips I rarely take haha.

Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video, it looks simple enough. Can you please tell me the distance from the back of the front seat to the back? I'm wondering if it's long enough to sleep in the car in a pinch. Thank you
Doubt it. Look at 15:05, he’s laying down at an angle, looks very uncomfortable. In another vid I think he stated he was 5’9” or so tall.
Another option would be to add a storage box that is the same height has the seats folded down.
Awesome, I've been wanting to know about seat removal since I reserved my bronco
Nice! I'm considering doing the same.
It was really helpful when I took it out to Moab with the 392. Keeping the fridge in one spot.
Thanks for watching!
Nice fitting modification. Practical and attractive. Only wrinkle was the missing hardware and mending plate. At least they sent you a sticker! LOL
Yeah haha luckily they overnighted the missing stuff so It wasn’t a huge deal.
Thanks for watching!
What are the dimensions between the 1 rear seat and the delete? I am trying to figure out if I can fit a dog kennel with just 1 rear seat delete, instead of both. These are the dog kennel dimensions. 34" (L) x 23" (W) x 28.5" (H)
Can you push the seat forward & have a removable plate or bag to fill the gap? What length would that be?
This looks like a very nice, well made and solid set up. I want to remove the same seat that you did to place in a rigid dog crate. Can you tell me, what is the widest solid object that will fit from the edge of the remaining seats right plastic bracket cover towards the far right inner wall panel? Great video and thank you.
Hi, can you mesure the length between the seat and tailgate closed, Thanks. Wondering its possible to sleep there
See 15:05. Doesn’t look like it. He said he’s 5’9” or so tall also
Bummed to see the bottom of the plates are unfinished... concerned about longevity and water/moisture?
I’m not too worried about that. How often are you going to have enough water underneath it to actually cause damage. Unless I left the top off in the middle of a storm. So far I haven’t had any issues after a couple months with it and using it off-road.
The thing that amazed me the most in this video is that you still have you 10mm socket 😂🤣
Nice 👍 Thanks for taking the headache out of an install!
Thinking of both seats gone. Cheers
Oh!!! Is it particle board under the top plastic?
Thanks again
Thanks for vid. I had no clue these were available. It would be nice (safer) if there was a bumper or rail of some sort to protect back of front seat from cargo impact in unforeseen circumstances.
I love your trucks bro, I have a bronco on order and getting tired of waiting, it’s jeeps everywhere, I just don’t know if the bronco is worth the wait
Not too much info out there about this setup. Looks great. Does it become completely flat? Video kinda makes it look like the seat part is angled ?? Also, is the passenger seat able to slide all the way back and slightly recline along with it being all the way back?
Yep it’s now a flat load space. And the passenger seat can move back all the way and still recline.
Thanks for watching!
I have been watching your videos, really good content! I know you got rid of your Bronco - but do you remember if the Goose Gear platform was "slippery" or did it have good grip? I want to put one in for my dogs but worried they will slide around.
I mean I though it had pretty good grip for not having things slide around unless it was hard plastic. The textures alot like a bed liner.
Thanks for watching!
Any issues spraying out the interior with this setup? If that whole thing was covered in sand, does it just shoot out the back with a hose or what?
Too bad Ford did not make that rear seat easier to take out/ put in. - looks good 👍
Yeah it would’ve been cool. But at least I can keep one seat just in case I take 2 extra people.
Thanks for watching!
I did the whole rear. Unless your passenger is under 5' tall, they're not gonna fit in the rear with a front passenger. My dog's comfort comes before other people anyway.@@drivenmad2089
The Ford Boys Are Getin Mad, good then design your back seat to lay flat and young Dakota doesn't have to switch out everything to make it usable! You tell um Dakota!
Great content. Any reason why you don't use an electric impact wrench? It will change your life !
Most of the time it’s cause I forget. But with a lot of stuff I’m worried that I’ll over tighten it haha
When you folded up the cover to access the bolt holding in the seat belt, I thought that you were going to remove the seat belt to put in the latch, so 2 questions:
Why fold up that cover, and won't the seat belt reminder go off if there's no seat belt inserted into the latch?
That’s where you disconnect it. So it won’t go off if there’s no seat belt connected.
It's a rear seat belt - I don't think I've ever driven a vehicle that chirps at you if a rear seat belt is unlatched upon start-up.
one question… wrangler vs bronco, whose audio/sound system is better? does your wrangler have Alpine sound? Is it worth the money? Thanks handsome
I had a Rubicon with the Alpine system. It’s better than any audio system that Bronco has.
My 2DR Wrangler has the alpine sound system and the broncos has a bit better mid range but the bass is better in the wrangler.
How much head room do you have with the seats removed?
What is the length front to back of the overland setup once installed?
I'll get a measurement for it here soon. currently letting my cousin use it since he's out of a car at the moment.
Yes. Will a 6ft or larger person lay straight in there?
Seems a bit half-baked. First, they should have made the cubby door cross the entire cubby. Second, they should have added a latch to the jack compartment as well, instead of screws. And then the missing parts out of the gate. Good idea, needs better execution.
Agree 100% about Jack cover
It's as if some folks have never had a flat tire at 2AM in the rain.
man!reallly excellent , 🤟
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
Kinda unfortunate all those bolt heads that aren't flush... esp the marriage plate bolts where you're likely to be sliding things over. Stuff is gonna get hung up on those bolts.
Does this work with side molle panels?
As long as it doesn’t interfere with the floor I don’t see why it wouldn’t 🤷🏼♂️
The more of your Bronco videos I watch, the more I'm inclined to keep my JL! One of the first things I did after purchasing my JL was removed the rear seat, as I'm not interested in chauffeuring anyone around and I like having the entire rear cargo area open. Literally a 5-minute job with a Wrangler. Looks like to do the same with the Bronco is comparatively a PITA, and also requires a crappy kit from a company that doesn't even QA their products well enough that they ensure no parts are missing! (Well done, GooseGear.) Thanks for the continued Bronco videos, but I'll stick with my Wrangler. At least for another few years, until Ford works out the kinks. ;)
I've been through 4 2 door Wranglers including one Rubicon. Other than the rear seat, my 2 door Badlands blows away any of the Jeeps I've owned. Yeah Ford could make a few improvements, but for a first gen (6th gen) of a "new" model, they did a damn good job. And yes, I do off-road.
Does it save on weight or is it negligible?
It’s pretty negligible. I’d say at best you’re looking at a 5-10lbs weight savings 10lbs being pretty optimistic.
Thanks for watching!
its not a 1/4 racecar
@@Logan0o Have you not seen bricks running the 1/4?
How about an update
I can do that
same issue with the stupid 3rd row seats
Sweet
Was wondering if you still like the seat delete from goose?
Yep it’s been great! Did exactly what I wanted it to do.
Why did remove the right seat, not the left, it's easier for someone to get in the passenger side.
Because the way I have my drivers seat set up the person would have more leg sitting behind me
Worst thing about a bronco!
How much weight did that add to the bronco?
Actually, it probably took weight out. The rear plate weighs about the same as the old rubber/carpet one did and the seat back and seat bottom along with the attachments weight more than the other plate. It’s within 5lbs I’d say.
Thanks for watching!
