Those were some pretty cool ways to see this being used. I recently had to go for an interview for a US visit visa and used it to practice and it really helped make me feel ,ucj more confident and got the visa approved! As a sidenote, I do appreciate that even though you have self-promotion, you never push it hard or too many times in a single video like some creators do in their videos.
Yeah so I tried that thing it I want you to be quiet now. And not say anything until I tell you that you can talk again. It really really didn't work. It couldn't stop saying "ok, going to be quiet now. " I tried to explain that I would know it understood if it was just quiet and said nothing. It Answer was "I understand now I will say nothing." I tried Explained that it's still saying something and not being quiet. And it said "oh I'm sorry from now on I will be quiet. " Yeah so annoying. But maybe if I was quiet it wouldn't say anything!? But I do have a problem with it, starting to talk before I'm finished talking. Even if it's just interrupting by saying "I will be quiet now and not interrupt you. " But maybe it's because I use it in Swedish I don't know. Wait I will try it in English. And it actually said the word [silent]. 🤦🏾

After watching this video I've had a good chat about ponds, trees ecology whilst walking my dogs then when I had to go out whilst driving instead of listening to the radio I asked it to act as a podcast host and ask me questions about my business and it done a great job until it told me I'd hit my limit. And yeah maybe half hour it then switched to normal mode which was a long pause between answering and it ignored me when I said stop but still 10x more amazing than shit Alexa.
I'm trying to learn German, but I dont have anyone to speak German with on daily basis. So thats why I purchased this subscription to practice my german. And it's quite helpful.
I got it to admit that it doesn't know the intonation of some languages, but it does know them for other languages. (Not sure if just a hallucination or what.)
Sentence expansion game is fun. You tell it to give you a word. and you will translate that word. You can add to it as well. Or just have chatgpt give you an additional word to translate. "I eat" then you translate it. then it says, "I eat pizza", then you translate it. then it adds another word..."eat pizza with friends. then after a while... "today, I will eat pizza with friends for 2 hours at a nearby restaurant". I've been doing this and it has been making me say long sentences in Korean, and its genuinely fun.
I kind of wish they kept the feature to to keep pressing on GPT voice icon so it doesn't interrupt me when I talk and I can take my time and then I just press when I want to interrupt it again instead of trying to talk over it which can be quite annoying sometimes.
I want a mode where it aways waits to answer until I say "over" (or whatever). Part of the point should be that it has the patience to let me slowly ramble my full thoughts out, unlike a human, haha

Yep. Norway here, I had it for a few weeks and then lost it again. I guess including the EEA countries makes sense, since we tend to follow the same regulations. Hope it gets worked out, though.

It’s been very glitchy (for me) while OAi is overloaded. So many drop outs. Update: retried tonight at lower traffic times and much better. I have a good executive functioning use case I figured out today but I’ll test it for the next week to ensure it is working before sharing. If it works it may help me keep my ADHD in check.

I think the whole online interview/reqruitment space is soon going to implode once people start using AI avatars of themselves to conduct the interviews. Already some people are using LLMs to monitor interview questions and generate replies in real time that they can then deliver in the interviewer- so the next step is to have your avatar do the interview for you. How long will it be before some start up offers to create a perfect version of you that will perform flawlessly in online interviews, not only verbally but non verbally as well? At a this point the viability of any remote interview process falls apart because it will no longer be possible for interviewers to know if they are dealing with a real person or an AI enhanced version of that person. Indeed an arms race is likely to evolve in which interviewers attempt to penetrate the use of AI generated candidates by asking oblique or unexpected questions or even asking the candidate to perform certain physical actions like standing up or turning around, and presumably the suppliers of digital avatars will respond by adding these features to their models. It's both funny and slightly terrifying to speculate like this because the scenario I describe is a microcosm of just how disrputive the arrival of convincing fake humans is likely to be, not just in the reqruitment space but in any space where humans interact via digital means.

That's because it uses an enormous amount of tokens behind the scenes for those 40 minutes. Maybe like 100x as many as when you're doing a text chat. Yes, it's amazing, but it does eat through their compute.

I will have to laugh at Microsoft a bit since in their Copilot they added that advanced voice mode and has been more than 15 days and they still hasn’t made it working. Seems like the ChatGPT doesn’t have enough hardware to support it and because even the paid users on the original application are only getting an hour a day of advanced voice mode,which indicates that the resources are limited for now

I’m not a fan at all of the advanced Voice. It’s not current with the Internet a lot of time it fails for me or gets too garbled and I have to tell it to repeat itself. I keep interrupting it by mistake so I have to do an extra step every time just to mute it.
try with a newer phone, or better internet provider. or close background apps. The garbling happens when the phone is overwelmed. and if you have a question that needs internet, then switch to the basic voice mode by just typing in something.
At the end of the day, it's still a chatbot.......an advanced chatbot........but a chatbot. It NEEDS to be able to generate visual responses like chatgpt 4o
I believe the daily limit of an hour has been removed. I have asked via AVM previously and it knew that there was an hour restriction and now I ask again and she tell me that that there is none. I haven't timed it on a daily basis but I believe I'm using it for over an hour now. Can anyone confirm?

I live in Canada and till now I have been consistently limited to one hour of use, every 24 hours. yup. you can simulate the interview, and then at the end break character, and ask for advice and feedback. It's super useful.
Yeah just like every ChatGPT conversation you can follow-up prompt it to give you feedback.

@@imjesseykwong just hit the limit again, I was just cooking Was not even speaking that much. People say it varies but it never varied for me. I live in Canada and till now I have been consistently limited to one hour of use, every 24 hours. I think the creators and RUclipsrs somehow have more usage available, or the people who were in the beta test still have longer limits.

Im using a VPN as I am in Germany. It worked fine until now, but since yesterday it is really buggy and it restarts the same sentence over and over without being able to end it.

use a vpn. uninstall then reinstall if need. but try just the vpn first. use the USA as a location. if spain is supposed to have it, forget the vpn, just uninstall and reinstall the app.

There is a better model then ChatGPTs:Advanced Mode and its free... I used both models and had them speak to each other Chat GPT when side by side with this other model it all of a sudden strips away all the wow factor when i first heard it...
