It'd be sad to see Air Berlin fall apart. I read that a possible Lufthansa take over would be devastating for foreign competition and therefore even German consumers/customers. I just hope that Air Berlin will find the necessary funding to stay alive. But, great trip report! Please continue sharing.
Very nice video. Yes. In my own opinion my favourite aircraft in the "airberlin" livery was the Boeing 737-700. I guess in the near future TUIfly will take over the last remaining AB 737-700 planes. Or Germania. But the Airbus A319 was looking also nice in the latest AB color-sheme too. Of course today too more and more single-aisle Airbus planes will have a much more modern cabin-ambiente. But you will be right. The Boeing-Company has actually its BEST (lighting) cabin-ambiente inside it,s newer Boeing 737-800/900 planes.
I could remember that in 2008 or 2009 air Berlin was partnering With an Old airline called LTU and Every year i flew the route Muc-Hkt nonstop. The flight was 13 h. IT was hard because IT was operating by an Airbus a330-300 and there was no IFE before. But i sleep the whole flight.

AB hat mich nie enttäuscht, aber ich finde trotzdem, dass AB im Allgemeinen nichts richtig durchziehen konnte (Sparprogramme). Das ist jetzt die "Strafe" für die Schludrigkeit. Übrigens, ich bin heute MXP - MUC - HAM geflogen. Lufthansa ist einfach super, obwohl ich für die Kurzstrecke ein zweites Getränk erwartet hätte, was aber nicht der Fall war (nur auf Nachfrage). Der Skytrain zwischen den Terminals in MUC ist auch super! :-)
Danke! Das Airbus Skyinterior haben sie aber jetzt erst neu vorgestellt und wir wissen nicht, wieso Airbus dies nicht schon früher eingeführt hat, da es die Atmosphäre in der Kabine deutlich verbessert.
I had flown with AirBerlin from Düsseldorf in May and I'm from The Netherlands and Airbelin is the best airline in the world and I am very sad to hear this new .
8:43 Airbus recently presented the new "AirSpace" cabin, so it's coming... :) The brand Air Berlin will disappear, the CEO has said. :/ I wish the best luck to the pilots and employees who will have to search for a new job (at Eurowings?)...
Yes, they recently presented the AirSpace.But we don´t know why Airbus didn´ install a lighting system in past. It makes the cabin so much nicer! They really could introduce it earlier. Thanks for watching!

Seats are dark blue like for BA, RYANAIR, are lingus... maybe a connection there?
