"Your Words Cut Deep.... Deeper than any Blade....." - Zabuza Momochi
Back when Naruto was actually a ninja show with strategy and technique.
"So this is Kakashi, the Copy Ninja..." a few moments later "did he actually copy me?"
When Naruto was not Dragon ball 😂😂
crazy how the first time we seen this dojustu it was by a non uchiha. I found that pretty clever
You know, back when Naruto actually throw his weapon to the rabbit, this actually shows that Naruto had natural instincts towards danger and hostility, way more than Sasuke the genius or Sakura the useless, and Kakashi actually realized that.
Back when the word 'sharingan' kept us at the edge of our seats
Remember how cool the sharigan was back then? Remember??
I miss the time when the Sharingan was just eyes with extra pupils that could give it's user better reaction time, faster reflexes and could mimic and learn other jutsus, and that was it.
Peak Naruto imo, most intense fight of the series actually thought Sasuke died, would've been a wild twist. Made me feel like nobody was safe in the harsh ninja world constantly at war, I loved it. This arc got me hooked on this anime.
The atmosphere in early Naruto just hit different - if there was a 'threat' it was an actual threat, not some colourful 'super villain' who gets 1 tapped by a side-character

This was peak Naruto, back when hand signs were still a thing and you were a bad ass if your name was in the bingo book. Think this fught cemented Kakashi as one of the best from the start of the anime. Water dragon jutsu 😂😂
This particular moment made me fell in love with Naruto (my first anime) after my cousin watched it and I happened to be just watching. Kakashi is still my favorite so far
I love how they are surprised, seeing Kakashi's sharingan from behind his back
early naruto was peak naruto
This art style was peak.
remember when this show was about ninjas
Given up was the technicality of things like preparing substitution techniques in exchange for spamming 15-foot tall ethereal warriors fighting against space aliens. Part I will always be my favorite. We may have had the Tailed Beats in Part I but their power was on a scale where it was quite obvious that they were not to be trifled with, even Shukaku. There's very little of this in the series anymore.
