_He's so uncultured!_ 🤣 I don't use chopsticks unless it's the only thing they have available! I've been a forking American for 55 years! 🤣 That chicken did look really good! Everything looked worth a try.
Nice video and I am looking forward to trying this place as the founder of Washing Potato also started Hakkasan. He knows his stuff! As a fellow reviewer of restaurants, I have a few hints and tips for you about eating at a restaurant. First one, you should take some chop stick lessons, as eating that food with a fork is just plain weird and you are not respecting the culture of the food. I liked how you ate off of the communal plates the entire time until dessert. You should have also gotten individual plates for your meal. Did they not offer them to you or did you say no thanks?. Second one, it is a bit unhealthy when sharing food on the plates with more than your loved one, especially since you were shoving your fork that you had in your mouth back into the sharing plates, then you coughed at least once in the direction of the shared plates. This is how people get sick. Third one, you shouldn't be talking when eating, that is just plain rude. I know that you are doing a food review, however, manners still matter to people. Keep up the great reviews and trying new places, looking forward to your upcoming successes!
@@TRMVSorry, I was raised with proper manners, got to call out when I see it. I have been noticing a ton of YT food reviewers eating and talking at the same time, it is disgusting and doesn't belong out in public. Do what you want at home, just like answering a cell phone at a dinner table or wearing any type of hat at a table, simply bad manners!!! Go and eat at the Cheesecake Factory or the like if you are going to behave in public like this, not at a nice restaurant such as Washing Potato.
@@robruf get a grip, seriously I’m starting to feel bad for you. If it bothers you stop watching, neither they or any of us want to read a lecture from some random Joe from podunk. He’s not a professional food critic, nor are you by the way, he’s a guy out having fun with his buddies and taking us along. If all of this bothers you so much don’t ever pay close attention to what’s going on in the kitchen.
@@TRMV I feel very bad for you. If you think coughing on a sharing plate and sticking the same fork into a sharing plate that you just stuck into your mouth is going overboard, then I would hate to think what your table manners are like. As far as the Joe from podunk comment, I travel all over the world and I live in one of only 4 true food cities in the US and I have never seen table manners like that in my life. Even my 6 year old niece has better table manners than that. I guess they don't teach manners anymore, maybe people should look them up on RUclips, like everything else these days!!!
@@robruf you’ve never left your moms basement , and podunk is hardly a true food city which btw is made up nonsense which just makes you look even more pathetic than you already did. Give it a rest Karen, you’ve worn out your welcome.
That dish is called Scallop Shumai. You can see it on the Washing Potato website. Shumai is just a traditional Chinese dumpling, it is usually made from ground pork and steamed. However, Shumai can also be made with other fillings such as chicken, shrimp, crab or scallop. So, this means he is not incorrect and you should perhaps educate yourself a bit better before calling someone clueless!!! It doesn't matter that he mixed up the wording, maybe he has slight aphasia, which means mixing up word orders, such as saying Shumai Scallops instead of Scallop Shumai. What really matters is that he didn't use chopsticks and ate off of the communal plates, coughed on them and then his friends ate from those same plates.
@@TRMV I am a blast at parties, I don't like people being picked on for no apparent reason, especially when you said to someone that you don't even know that they are clueless, that is a pretty big insult. Seems as if you might be the clueless person in statement!

All the food looked great 😋 Very nice of them to replace the warm Venison Buns.
I'll take some Donald! 😅😂 Great video for stepping outside of your comfort zone!
That’s quite a dramatic dining room. Looking great… and as good as it looks, I think Toronto would have some amazing places for dim sum as well😋
Beef Chow Fun. Fun = wide, flat rice noodle, Beef Chow Mein = regular noodle. Looks pretty good.
Good to know thanks!
Great video we were thinking going there was wondering how the food was there before going.
The last 4 seconds of he vid. 😆 You just wanna be home lol.
Looks so delicious!!!!
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸🇺🇸Nice food tour video🌷🌷
Family style dining means sharing using individual plates. That way you don't cough all over the food everyone eats.

Not for the Strip, those prices were actually pretty reasonable.
Nothing for Matthew here. He's a big Trust Fund Baby. 😂😂😂
