Oscar's looks AMAZING, that looks a lot bigger than 16 oz. I'm a big fan of the Ellis Island Prime Rib, also the South Pointe has a Prime Rib restaurant.
Oscar's wins hands down. 59.00 is reasonable for such good prime rib. Here in Plymouth Mass there isn't anything like that. Even in NYC where I'm from you'd be hard pressed to find such a good meal.
What a fun review! All the prime ribs looked yummy! Depending what we were looking for the day I would be having me we would decide! Love how you say”yucky yuck” just like your son does 🤣! Too cute 0:15
Thank you for this! I've been to Oscar's and the ribcap was not very good (I sadly did not have Bobby as my waiter). But I love prime rib and so few places offer it. This looked terrific. But how can you not appreciate the horseradish??? It's a must. All the best (hopefully will be there next month).
Good video and review. Here is the problem.....the first two were perfect medium rare edge to edge with a nice outer crust. The eye section plus the rib cap were all perfect and even red/slightly pink color. The third one at Oscars, although larger than the first two had the rib cap pretty much well done. The eye section was still at the optimum temperature but this inconsistency has a huge impact on the texture and flavor of the overall experience. This tells me that there was far more care taken by the first two (and lower priced restaurants) to cook the entire rib section at a much lower temp for a longer period of time to get in my opinion a far nicer and tastier finished product.
Thank you, Matthew. I’ve had it all three places. I do prefer opinions you’re right about the quality the quantity and the surface. Thank you again.🙏🏼🥰🥰
Oscars for the win! That Prime Rib alone is 4 times larger than the first 2 you ate combined. That is a good value in my opinion. Would be nice if they included a baked potato and a salad though. I also can't believe you aren't a horseradish fan! I have to have it with my Prime Rib!
That is the perfect cut of prime rib! It's well done on the edge which gives you a grandma's Sunday roast flavor, and the rest med rare which is different in texture, and taste, bot excellent! For those who haven't had prime rub yet, if you want more of a roast flavor ask for an end cap which will be closer to well done. Don't be surprised if you get an all pink prime rib though as the end caps go quickly!
thanks for another great video, Matthew. really nice of you to surprise a fan. three prime ribs in one day? you are a master eater, sir!! 👍 i'd go for the last one at Oscar's...
I thought FOR SURE your pick for trying an expensive prime rib would be at "Lawry's the Prime Rib" Dang it, I was so hoping for a review of that place! Also, no horseradish? What the heck? That's like having a burger with no ketchup on it! 😅
I would go to Oscar’s. When you are in Vegas why not splurge 😂. Also, you should do this experiment with steaks. Maybe head to the Strip for at least one of them.
I got a free Prime Rib at El Cortez because I booked my room online. When the food arrived, the heat coming off the food really felt like everything was microwaves minutes ago to reheat the food. Veggies were bland and the prime rib was thin and unimpressive. I remember thinking to myself, you get what you pay for .. Save up and spend the money on the good stuff. You'll have a better and more flavorful experience.
That was a great review, Matthew. It was nice to show 3 different pricepoint choices :) I always just ate where I was at the time... but that was a different era
What a fun review! All the prime ribs looked yummy! Depending what we were looking for the day I would be having me we would decide! Love how you say”yucky yuck” just like your son does 🤣! Too cute!!! Losing those bets was fun tho
I would definitely not wait and pay the extra to be seated right away or have a reservation. Speaking of Rib Cap. My last time having Bobby, the best RIP ❤, wait on me at Oscar's. I didn't have a choice what to order. He just asked "how would you like your Rib Cap cooked and what sides"... classic
The view at Oscar's looks amazing, there is no way I am waiting an hour to pay $11 dollars . Looks like I need to try out El Cortez. Thank you for a great video.
Good video bro! I want to try these prime ribs, I’ve never gotten them at these places but I Love seigels and Oscar’s! you ate all that in one evening 🤯 😅
You are too cute and so honest with your food tasting. I watch all your videos and being a Prime Rib lover this one really stood out. Happy Eating Matthew.
I remember in my early years of going to Vegas I went to the SanRemo (now Oyo) that had a restaurant that had a prime rib special at something like $6.99. It wasn’t great but certainly edible. Vegas hotels used to have a lot of places with specials like this. Hardly a thing anymore.
The Oscar's Prime Rib looks superb. The problem as I see it paired with an appetizer or a salad or side that cut is more than a meal. Staying in a hotel the leftovers will be wasted.
Have had the prime rib at El Cortez because i got in super late. Definitely a good deal. The prime rib at oscars looked legit. Might have to try next time, but like you...hard to pass on the ribcap when there. RIP Bobby!
😊😊😊for a much bigger cut but with sides Oscar's looked yummy. However for the best price and best quality and quantity try Jerry's Nugget World Famous Coffee Shop. For $22.99 you get almost as big piece of prime rib as you get at Oscar's plus included is home made soup or salad. Choice of your potato. Vegetables And garlic bread. All house made. THE BEST PRIME RIB IN VEGAS !!
The best deal in Vegas for your money for prime rib I have been about 8 times lol. And the most I have waited was 15 minutes Just go 1 hour after the deal begins and it’s not any line lol
Without question, Oscar's would be my choice! Not a prime rib fan, but the rib cap is always a winner. The sundae looks good too! Enjoyed this comparison video very much!🤌🫶🙌
I think Gallaghers at NYNY has the best prime rib I've ever had. I still think about it years later. I've tried many, many, many and they've not been better than there. I should just give up trying others and just go there againnext time.
You missed freedom beat at the downtown grand, which is $14.99 after earning 25 points. It's ridiculously good too. Fresh veg, amazing mash.. it's probably the best downtown imho.
Ngl all 3 prime ribs looked good, def do a steak video. Also keep doing the free meal or twice as expensive meal bets, I've thought about doing some myself lol
You better tell those boys to get your slow mo pouring down pat. 😝And I also hate horse radish sauce. We did the steak and lobster meal a few months back from Tony romas. It was good.
Oscars is definitely the winner, im sure the quality is Prime compared to Select quality of the last two. Size is definitely 4x, the whole family can share.
What place would you pick?
This is a no-brainer
With my wages here at the MPM
I have to go with Tony Roma's 😥
@@mattpackmotelfrontdesk2258 Christmas bonus is coming you can go to El Cortez
I would go to OSCARS
Definitely Oscar's 1st but if on a budget Tony Roma's and Siegel's 1941.
Oscar's but I want to give El Cortez a try🥩
Prime Rib should always be eaten medium rare, while the vlog is best served well done. Both cooked to perfection. And it was great to meet you Sal!
Nope, RARE.
Oscar's looks AMAZING, that looks a lot bigger than 16 oz. I'm a big fan of the Ellis Island Prime Rib, also the South Pointe has a Prime Rib restaurant.
That definitely looked like a double cut. Oscar's always takes care of Matthew.
Oscar's wins hands down. 59.00 is reasonable for such good prime rib. Here in Plymouth Mass there isn't anything like that. Even in NYC where I'm from you'd be hard pressed to find such a good meal.

Really like this style of video - more like this would be awesome!
Thank you for this! I've been to Oscar's and the ribcap was not very good (I sadly did not have Bobby as my waiter). But I love prime rib and so few places offer it. This looked terrific. And yes more like these please!

My 2 fav prime ribs in vegas so far are lawrys and then primarily prime rib at south point. Lakes lounge also has a good one on fridays for $21
That last prime rib looked fantastic!
Did you order the rib cap at Oscar’s separately?
Thank you, Matthew. I’ve had it all three places. I do prefer opinions you’re right about the quality the quantity and the surface. Thank you again.🙏🏼🥰🥰
was that the true cut of prime rib at oscars for $59? that seemed more like a cowboy cut... either way it looked great!
Oscars for the win! That Prime Rib alone is 4 times larger than the first 2 you ate combined. That is a good value in my opinion. Would be nice if they included a baked potato and a salad though. I also can't believe you aren't a horseradish fan! I have to have it with my Prime Rib!
Love your "bet to pay for the meal or pay twice as much" angle. Nice!!!

Does Ellis island i think it is has a prime rib special?
Solid comparison 🎉
What a fun review! All the prime ribs looked yummy! Depending what we were looking for the day I would be having me we would decide! Love how you say”yucky yuck” just like your son does 🤣! Too cute!!! Losing those bets was fun tho
Everything looked delicious at Oscar's. Beef ribs ravioli...oh boy. Thanks for the video Matthew.
3:14 That side-eye LOL
I would definitely not wait and pay the extra to be seated right away or have a reservation.
Speaking of Rib Cap. My last time having Bobby, the best RIP ❤, wait on me at Oscar's. I didn't have a choice what to order. He just asked "how would you like your Rib Cap cooked and what sides"... classic
Tony Roma's is always a long wait. i love their ribs. I use to go there when they were at the Stardust.
we now need a prime rib comparison on the Strip.
Yep….do more like this one! Really enjoyed it! 😊
The view at Oscar's looks amazing, there is no way I am waiting an hour to pay $11 dollars . Looks like I need to try out El Cortez. Thank you for a great video.
Pretty awesome Tony Roma's have been able to keep that deal low priced. I think it was 8.99 about 2-3 years ago.
Glad you surprised a fan!
Siegel is great comfort food
Love seeing a good prime rib showdown!
Good video bro! I want to try these prime ribs, I’ve never gotten them at these places but I Love seigels and Oscar’s! you ate all that in one evening 🤯 😅
Great video! Vert informative! The $20 deal was my choice❤😅
You are too cute and so honest with your food tasting. I watch all your videos and being a Prime Rib lover this one really stood out. Happy Eating Matthew.
Great stuff young man!
Really great video Matthew. Thank you
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching
Wow, that last primerib looks awesome ❤❤❤❤❤❤
YUM!!!!!!! Your videos always make me so hungry. I am going to Oscar's immediately to ge those desserts!
Great vid as usual! Place the bet AFTER the meal!
Ok next time I will

I used to go to the San Remo when it was $2.99, that in 2001

Hello Sir, thank you for another great review! Fun
Great video - please make more like this!
I'm glad you liked it!
Have had the prime rib at El Cortez because i got in super late. Definitely a good deal. The prime rib at oscars looked legit. Might have to try next time, but like you...hard to pass on the ribcap when there. RIP Bobby!
Oscar’s definitely worth it!😋
I'm a very frugal eater, those prime ribs would be three dinners for me!
Matthew, I bet being at Oscars isn't the same without your dear friend Bobby. Great video.
@@Bette-Jo makes me sad every time. He was the experience
Nice places downtown, but where's the horseradish?
🤮
That plate looks great ❤❤❤❤❤
Definitely do the cheap versus steak expensive video
Best video .
I like the end cut, next time stand in line and then aask for the end cut.
Great video Matt. You Sir are an eating machine. Well done!
Choice of

Great video Matthew! I would have to go to Oscars! Good deals all the way around on all of them!
This is one mouthwatering video. Oscar's of course looks the best but the other 2 are great for the price.
Did you have 7 people with you at Oscars???? So much food!!! wow!
The best deal in Vegas for your money for prime rib
I have been about 8 times lol. And the most I have waited was 15 minutes
Just go 1 hour after the deal begins and it’s not any line lol
Good tip!
Can you do a video on where is the best AYCE sushi and best Italian food in Vegas? Thanks
Here is my fav Italian ruclips.net/video/cl2utkBcKbc/видео.htmlsi=0HrFM64H6XZLuKKk
Without question, Oscar's would be my choice! Not a prime rib fan, but the rib cap is always a winner. The sundae looks good too! Enjoyed this comparison video very much!🤌🫶🙌
Thank you!
Oscar's is our favorite, hands down the best!
I would rather pay more to get what I want 2,3 choice
I think Gallaghers at NYNY has the best prime rib I've ever had. I still think about it years later. I've tried many, many, many and they've not been better than there. I should just give up trying others and just go there againnext time.
Definitely Oscars for me. I would just get roast beef once on a trip, so might as make it worth it!. Plus, The Carousel Bar is too cool.
You missed freedom beat at the downtown grand, which is $14.99 after earning 25 points. It's ridiculously good too. Fresh veg, amazing mash.. it's probably the best downtown imho.
I remember back in the day when prime rib dinner was less than five dollars everywhere.
Oscars!!! ❤❤
OMG! now i have more places to choose i was thinking about Jerry's nugget have you ever been there. thanks for the video.
Never been there
Oscars would be my pick for prime rib and the Sunday looked excellent.
You can't beat the deal at the El Cortez. Plus it's Good.
My goodness, Matthew; you can certainly eat. 🇨🇦
Oh no! Can’t decide between the prime rib or the rib cap at Oscar’s now!
Rib cap.
Ngl all 3 prime ribs looked good, def do a steak video. Also keep doing the free meal or twice as expensive meal bets, I've thought about doing some myself lol
The Sundae looked so awesome... lol
AWESOME
Dipping king crab in an jus? Incredible!
What a deal
My parents used to take us to the Stardust buffet for $6 prime rib dinner
Nice to see you back at @Oscars. Saving the best for last 👍 well done (video…not the steak 🥩 😎
Haha thanks
Oscars prime rib is 🐐
I wouldn’t wait that long at Tony romas.
Your hairline is outrunning you
Also, if rib cap is your favorite try it at joels chophouse at the ahern. Its 50% off on fridays too!
Whooooooooooooaaaa Delish!!!❤
Each meal was worth the price point
Problem with Tony's is the wait worth it
Another option without the wait is Ellis Island
For $59 they should have given u at least a potato too😢😢😢. I like the Seigel meal the best😅😅
Oscar's for me
I want to see a cheap steak and lobster to the most expensive!!! 💪🏽💪🏽
Do a video on cheap steak and lobster
They spoil Matthew at Oscars!
You better tell those boys to get your slow mo pouring down pat. 😝And I also hate horse radish sauce. We did the steak and lobster meal a few months back from Tony romas. It was good.
Love oscars, try creme Brule next time, desert. Trust me, it's great
Oscars is definitely the winner, im sure the quality is Prime compared to Select quality of the last two. Size is definitely 4x, the whole family can share.
Can't beat Oscar's. RIP BOBBY.
El Cortez's prime rib deal is all day, so no line. But their BEST deal is the half price menu for Seniors on Wednesday.
