Yardbird's chicken and waffles is my first meal on every single trip that I take to Vegas. The chicken is unbeatable, and that bourbon maple syrup is amazing. (And yes, I eat the whole plate myself... and then I don't eat dinner.) I usually drop my bags at my hotel and head straight over to Yardbird.
I tried Yardbird for the first time my last visit in May. I thought the fried chicken was outstanding. Shareable portions. I really enjoyed my visit. Great informative videos. Diet starts tomorrow.
I like it there. I’ve gone several times. I never have dessert there tho. I like their chicken, their watermelon ice tea, and the fried green tomato Benedict they had at one point. That was the most interesting item I e ever had in a me u in Vegas but then they took it out. Guess most people want the chicken and waffles which I’m not crazy about. Good job
Every trip i try and stop for deviled eggs and their chicken sandwich which are both fantastic 👌. The issue is this place gets packed during conferences and sometimes is privately booked so you can't get a seat so just he aware. People are saying it's overpriced but for Venetian it's just fine imo. Apple crumble is also delicious but needs to be ordered at the start of your meal and is for multiple people.
Wow you were right, the chicken was excellent, minus the waffle and not ripe watermelon, corn and mac good and key lime hit the stop. You friend was right, good home style cooking.
While i liked yardbirds the prices are so high I don't think its worth it. And I was underwhelmed with their chicken strips, which is my favorite food as I have the palette of a 8 year old. That being said I'd rather spend $42 there than $32 at hash hash a go go on their chicken and waffles which is not nearly as good.
Was gonna try that chicken and waffle but when I saw it was $30…no absolutely no..sorry edit…it was not $42 a few years ago nor would I ever pay that. That feeds 1 fatty ie me.NOT WORTH IT

Yardbird's fried chicken never disappoints!
Team matthew. Thanks for trying everything for us!!
I've heard people say they like this place a lot and the food looks good, but way too overpriced for me. Really good review Matthew.

Looks good but much better places for the price. Once again another great food blog
Thanks for sharing, cheers🥂🥂
Thanks gor the teview Matthew.
Have wanted to try Yardbird for years but never went. Going to try it on my next trip.
Yard bird was so good the ribs & sweet tea were amazing too
The food is great. And yes it can be crowded
I've been to this place a few times. The chicken is pretty awesome. Last time we went they had ribs and those were pretty great too.

Great video as always. Thank you.
I had lunch there in March before seeing Postcard from Earth. Everything was good. Overpriced? Sure, but I figured that's just a given on the Strip.
The burger at the yardbird was the best i've ever had in my life! Going back to vegas in 4 days time and this will be a must visit!
@@dazzosheps damn I should of had that!
I went there shortly after it opened about 10 years ago. I remember it just like you said. It was good but to me it didn't stand out.
It was DELICIOUS 😋
Been there a few times, a little expensive but very good food and service
The food looks amazing Matthew, but it is expensive
EFF THAT! Go to Cracker Barrel and get their southern fried chicken! Less than $20 for 4pcs and sides!
As always, Matthew with the nice small bites.
🤣🤣🤣🥴😶
Sign me up for the key lime pie❤❤❤
IM OT CONVINCED. ESP WHEN ALL I HEAR IS ITS OK.
Yardbird was on my list to try but after seeing this maybe not you just didn’t seem all that enthusiastic about it
It looks good when you’re drunk
Your Canadian but can you say Saskatchewan
I'll stick to Hattie B's for chicken
😮 PRICES
2 pieces of fried chicken with a waffle and a couple cubes of watermelon? for $42!! 😮 Absolutely not!
and don't get me started on those biscuits & cornbread 🙄🤯
It's four pieces of chicken, not two.
@meadsummer6547 oh..well he only showed 2..so i assumed.
@@meadsummer6547 either way...thats still insane.
Yardbird sounds is to expensive for me to eat there

42 dollars for chicken and waffles is their way of saying that they have no respect or fondness for their customers
What's with the slow motion slow pour? Who cares

I wasn’t a fan of Yardbird
