ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I can see the Starjammers going the way of Alpha Flight in terms of figure release, in that you get the two arguably most popular characters from each team in waves (Sasquatch, Ch’od BAF’s and then Guardian and Corsair separately) and then the rest of the team become an Amazon exclusive boxset for triple digits in price 😂

Honestly I think Emma and Cyclops are the ones I mainly want to include in my collection. Chamber I see more as potential Ghost Rider kit bash fodder. I’m usually very selective about these waves. The BAFs I’ve actually completed over these last few years are Super Skrull, Korg, Infinity Ultron, and Cosmo.
Love the video. I personally really like the figure aside from the extra finger and the not a lot of paint but I plan on adding an extra paint job on the figure so it doesn’t bother me too much.
You know that Carol Danvers as Binary was a member of the starjammers right?

They should have given Ch'od new hands and legs. The legs should have fins in the back and the same texture as the rest of the body.

This body mold is terrible
Don't say that to some of these people. This BAF is a classic example of hasbro being lazy. This mold is close to 10 years old. They could have created a new, bigger buck and they could have used it for a few figures (new better rhino and abomination) and i think alot of people would have been excited. They put a new head, wrong but new hands and a few small extra parts and said, hey we did our best.

I finally found Kid Omega, and it only had the BAF part inside! That’s really all I wanted, and I got it at Target, on sale at $12.99, but still. It was unopened, tape still intact and everything.

One thing Hasbro still seems totally clueless about for whatever reasons are paint apps for the ML line. It is SO hit or miss, and definitely doesn't appear to have any consistency of thought or theme. And when it misses, it REALLY misses. Also, this has to be one the LAZIEST representations of a character I've seen in quite a while. The fact they reused hands that don't even have the right number of appendages? C'mon. Why give us a figure we're likely never to see again with such a half-hearted effort? I'm sure because of anticipated costs/profits. Then again, we may see it as a re-issue re-package, maybe even the correct hands and better paint apps. The way they mishandled the Gamerverse Joe Fixit (how do you get the color of his skin wrong???) blows my mind. Some of these things (like Ch'od's face paint apps, seem like they could be SO easily corrected prior-production line, but whatevs.
What's worse is the hands are a new sculpt. Plus he should have fins on the back of his calves, and I think down his spine.
@@jonathanhampshire6856 I think (??) the hands are Abomination hands, just modded with the texturing on the back from what I can tell. Definitely yes on the fins for the back of his calves. And I'm pretty sure they were humping the painted "mini-humps" on the back of the spine that were also on the Abomination figure would pass as "back fins". But this whole, "This seems to represent the character enough and we definitely want to keep production costs cheap" thing is getting OLD. Not to mention he should be closer to Hulk in height (technically was originally taller way back when). Now I will say, more contemporary images of Ch'od from comics do show a more uniform color to him overall. But did anyone really want that? Did anyone even think of that when they think of Ch'od??

I'm glad you pronounce his name that way. I had always said it like Cod, or technically Çod, with that 'ckhh' sound. Then the X-Men cartoon came out, and they pronounced it 'choad' which is something else. I cringed and still do, whenever I hear it.

I guess Hasbro felt $150 spent wasn't enough to paint the nails on this figure. Hasbro just cuts corners at the cost of their consumers.
The only thing good about this figure is the head. This is such a phoned in release. They made new hands for it and still got too lane fingers? Wtf.
I was going to repaint it but after putting it together I was so thoroughly disappointed I just boxed it.

Most people buy first presented one then end up buying second right and Better one second round that way mold gets sold more than once doubling money. So it's Ch'od, like Ch'od McFarlane? Interesting enough, they used the same color plastic that Todd used for his RAW 10 Raptar. I like that bright green plastic. It pops. As soon as I saw the Hasbro publicity shots for the pre-orders, I knew there were going to be plenty of collectors complaining about the lack of paint apps. It doesn't bother me. I really like it.

Dude I love you, been following you for years. But your verbiage for wrist hinges is completely incorrect. Think about it in medical or exercise terms. The human form is most natural with the palms facing inward. When you raise your arms out to the side, that is referred to as moving IN and OUT. Moving UP and DOWN is when you move your hand in FRONT of you.
Your nomenclature is straight up wrong, and it confuses people. Just like for the longest time you used to say “matted” instead of “matte”. You will eventually realize how wrong you are. Better to fix it sooner than later my friend!
