Sweg Bear you can actually get some that are under $500 now that should work really well. Checkout monoprice. The i3 and the mini are supposedly really good

Looking at the model, I immediately think Nerf Hammershot. This could be a great shell for the Hammershot, but it will have a major modifications. Awesome build btw!

You should get a deburring tool. It'll clean those edges in a few minutes.
is there a way i could model an airsoft P99 to where i could print like a shell for it or just some parts that i could add to make it look more like a titanfall sidearm? i think that would be an interesting thing to try

There are people on the internet that you can pay to print something for you. Just google for something like: 3d printer for hire or something in that direction. I hope you find something!
how much does it weigh? I am thinking of making my own, and my school charges you to print by the gram
