I always saw eternal darkness at the store but never got it. The wii had been out for a year or two and i still saw it at the store for 50 dollars. I was like "why". So i was curious so i bought it. It was alright though not worth 50 dollars at the time i purchased it.

uh, mother/earthbound wasn't "failed", it was a successful trio of games and its creator just doesn't have any desire to create more of them? ness and lucas have become mainstays in smash bros too
Yeah for sure, it’s definitely beloved, especially now, it wasn’t a success when it was released in the west though, that’s why we never got the second (third) instalment. But like I said, fans loved it enough that they later created an English patch for the Japanese sequel
