Louis de Broglie derived his momentum equation from his Law of Phase Harmony critique of reality. de Broglie considered his Law of Phase Harmony to be his greatest discovery and yet the derivation of his momentum equation is not taught properly. The Law of Phase Harmony means there has to be a 2nd time from the future since both frequency increases and time increases (slows down) as the particle goes towards the speed of light.

Do you think the new implementation challenges the original findings of the 1887 experiment? I have not studied special relativity in a long time (let alone quantum gravity, or general relativity!)
