The sheer joy that came through from all involved in this project was absolutely infectious. Hats off to Taylor, Molly, and Nicole for being an outstanding band for Nataly, KO, and Nahneen. And none of this would be possible without Jack. Audio and video - the unsung heroes of every production!
I've been a Pomplamoose fan since t=0. Love them. Everything about them. I cannot for the life of me find a place that lists the band members. I would like to be able to search out their names and see if they have work that I can listen to. I know that this grouping is just a small subset of the larger experience that is Pomplamoose but it would be really great if the other folks in the band get credited so we can see their names and follow them. If it is there, I blame old age and apologize 🙂

Guitar player does the trademark 9th arpeggios from Every Breath *only* on the 500 miles part. Nice touch. Not usually a fan of this kind of thing but this was really smooth.

I am not sure but is it Taylor Moore on the drums. She is on 🔥 fire. Everything else is just too awesome to be put down in words. Natalie, Kevin, the young soul on the bass, Pomplamoose, Jack Conte & all the recording artists involved, Just Plain Awesome.
I read the title and was like : "huh, never heard of KO...... they might be good" (yes, I thought it was a band's name)

I always thought it was "heaving into you". Which seemed to fit with the prior line of getting drunk but I thought it seemed a bit out of place that you would be vomiting on the one you love.
This is truly amazing. Singing the lyrics of one song while oddly fitting it into the music of the other, than reversing it... just incredible. And well played on top of that.

This is the most chill rendition of both of these songs... I'm not sure that the lyrics of 500 miles makes "Every Breath" any less creepy... but great mashup!

@@taoist32 It’d be one thing if you were to do a mashup of “I Put A Spell On You” and “Every Breath You Take” (both being “I own you; no one else can have you” songs); it seems like another thing entirely to take an “I’m totally dedicated and will do anything for you” song and make it a “… because I own you” song. Maybe that’s just me and my lack of this sort of artistic vision.

Musically this is amazing!
Lyrically this is kinda horrifying.
It's fascinating isn't it - not only that these two songs work together musically, but the lyrical juxtaposition is strongly reflective of the modern relationship between men and their desires of women. Especially in the UK right now with the Sarah Everard murder trial, and the underlying issues surrounding her murderer. It could easily be the backdrop to a much wider conversation.
