My husband is obsessed with things being organised and neat and kids being disciplined and mannered and he is always cross with them as they are not upto his expectations.... moreover he always blames and curses me for not teaching them the right things which always creates tension at home... I try to balance both but fall short on both sides...

Yes... I face the same issue.... And also puts the study part of my son purely on me.... By force.... And always questions my strategies and plans.... I feel he gives unreasonable ideas which can only make him hate parents.... I feel soo stressed and helpless...

I have a special child, who has a strong memory power. I want him to go to school like any other child because no one knows what the future holds. But my husband wants him to be home schooled and learn life skills (rather than algebra, trig, history, Geo, civics etc)..Fights/arguments in daily basis...

nice one. v relevant. it's not the spouse , but if elders in the family interfere with our parenting and try to distract the kids with different lines of habits, principles, traditions, thoughts, etc. it becomes v difficult to justify or change their lines of thinking. it becomes rather much more difficult with working mothers where the time they get with the kids is again much more limited.. we cant directly defy the elders nor tell the kids that we don't agree with this too. kindly throw some light over this issue pls.

Dear sir, u talk about keeping calm and let things go their way then how is the children going to develop gratitude, respect and care for elders,,, which most children lack in today's time.. b'coz if we improvise the children of what we r doing for the children today is simply sent into the junk box by saying 'so what' .. now this bring in humiliation from both the children n the spouse...... If a person is being humiliated then how is it possible to talk wisely to the spouse... Either the person goes silent or bumps into a mess,,, in both these conditions the children grabs the easiest way out

Well, I don't totally agree with you, Shridhar, when you say that parenting is a 50-50 issue, and both parents have equal authority. Because unfortunately, this is false biologically. Father's sperm just carries DNA, whereas mother's egg carries DNA as well as lots of other nutrition, which is necessary for the embryo to develop into a baby. Besides, a mother keeps the baby for 9 months in her womb. So looking at it purely from a biological perspective, a mother contributes much more to creating the child than the father. So why should both the parents have equal authority? Isn't it unfair? Unfortunately, whether we accept it or not, a father is much lesser of a parent than the mother, looking at it purely scientifically. So I believe that the mother should have the higher authority.
    Think over it.

I am a male and I totally agree with you.
I think parents should teach their children skill that they are good at.
Suck as if father is a footballer he should teach him football, if mother is a very good articians so she should.
Parents shouldn't try to invade each other's USP in upbringing their child .

How to deal with a teenage son who follows his father who indulges in domestic violence 😒😔 How to react when a teenage boy follows his father and beats up the mother brutally for asking him to study be socially connected or attend his classes. ....My sister is facing this problem. Pls help. Psychiatric help didn't work as the boy refuses to come to the counselor. The boy has broken his mother z hand and few months back hit her on her face so brutally that her nose broke and she was in hospital. My sister is s very pious timid woman. But her husband is a porn addict and a womaniser. Pls guide. Her husband is beyond correction....but her son 😒😔 He is just 14. What if he behaves like this to outsiders. Her husband being a womaniser is a reserved type totally cut off from society. Hence the boy has no other role model. Pls guide. Pls post a video on how to deal with a cheating spouse to bring up responsible morally strong children 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
