Nice and good review, very clear. Me and my girlfriend will go on Vacation to Playa del carmen for the first time in April, greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
I just came across your channel as I am planning on visiting Mexico in May this year and LOOOOOOVVEEE your content… you explained everything so well and I am going to watch a few of your videos now in order to plan my trip … thank you 😊🌸🌼
@@Livingtheglobe thank you 😊.. please can you recommend options based on below: - Stay in Cancun or Isla Mujeres? - would like to spend a few nights in Playa del Carmen or Playacar - prefer quieter places with good beaches - would like to see the ruins and cenotes- please can you recommend quieter cenotes - shopping - you answered my questions in your videos 😊 - do you recommend visiting Tulum Thanks in advance 💓
Excellent video for Playa Del Carmen! I'm in Puerto Morelos now 20 miles away and you explained a lot of things I was wondering about. Since I follow several other full time travelers wanted to share some tips. Please point out options for people like vegan/ veggie restaurants and places to do exercise like yoga and a little more descriptive on the food beside the Spot On but your going to be successful with this endeavor. Congrats I can't wait to watch more.
Hi, Gary. Glad you enjoyed our video. Thanks for the tips. We only recommend what we like and what we experienced ourselves. We are not vegan nor vegetarian so we can not recommend just whatever spots. As much as I enjoy doing yoga myself, I did not go to any classes, just the gym at our condo so I will not recommend any place I do not know about.
You Both are so pleasant to watch! Thank you! Going for my annual girls trip next week. Thank you for your honest reviews & suggestions. Going to share with my girls. 🧡
I’m heading there in June-July and can’t wait. Was there 20 years ago. Also spending time in Cozumel 🙏🏾💕 Awesome content looking forward to trying your breakfast suggestions
Hey Jess! 🌟 Thank you for your comment and sharing your love for Mexico. You're absolutely right that Mexico is a country rich in culture and traditions. From vibrant festivals to delicious cuisine, historical landmarks, and warm hospitality, Mexico offers a unique and captivating experience.
Excellent video!!! Do you guys have a video of playa del Carmen with kids? Or where we can stay and go with kids in playa del carmen? That would be awesome!
Good job Guys very nice guide, hey!!! last time I was on local area named Real Bilbao Airbnb and was very safety swimming pool, 10 minutes from beach, advice, always the Centro area is more expensive but if you have a rental car is easier and the Best Way to explore the Riviera Maya.
Hi! When you withdraw money from an ATM in a foreign country it will always ask you “do you accept the conversion rate?” For example, the money in your bank at home is in USD but when traveling the ATM will give you local currency. The money will be still deducted from your bank in the USD. Thats why they ask you about the conversion. The options would be yes or no. Always choose no. Your bank will always give you better conversion rate.
Hello @JustBeOut what is the name of the bathing suit shop. It seems you only have the google maps location without the name of the shop mentioned in either the video and description box.
❤ hello!! I loved your video..my partner and I are coming to zazil-ha ..do you have any info on that neighborhood?? We are also wondering if there is a shuttle to take us from the airport to our apt in zazil?? Thank you for your time!! Your videos are so informative!! Nona
I just came back from Playa. I was there on part holiday/part condo hunt. Overall, it is a so-so experience. As a vacation destination, all Playa really has to offer are beaches. For most Americans/Canadians, Florida is a better option for a simple beach vacation. As a winter get away, there are some good values on condos, however. 5th Ave is a cringe-worthy experience. There were at least 150 heavily armed police/military personnel along 5th Ave The locals treat you as if you have ATM written on your forehead. Everything is at least double what you pay elsewhere in Mexico. Expect vendors to charge extra some how or another. The prices were surprisingly expensive. The beaches are nice from October until April. Otherwise they are full of seaweed. I lucked out - the beaches were clean. Expect to pay about $1,000 pesos for an afternoon at a beach club for a chair/umbrella, drinks and a meal. They will try to overcharge somehow - it s annoying. Playa has grown a lot over the past few years. Much of the growth is uneven. There are some nice condos/houses mixed in with some not so nice ones. The uneven development is unappealing, or such is my point of view. There are some nice day trips to the surrounding areas. The cenotes are worth a visit. The package tours will often include a cenote visit plus a trip to Chitzen (part Mayan calendar/part execution centre). Be sure to comparison shop. I spent four needless hours on a bus picking-up/dropping off people. There are some great deals on condos in gated communities well away from the centre of Playa. If you are looking to spend winters in Mexico, they are worth considering. Groceries and other living essentials are about half what you will pay back home. Just stay away from 5th Ave.
Hi was you there august 2023? I was in cancun for 2 weeks in april 2024 and have booked player del carmen for July/August 2025 but am thinking about cancelling it because im worried about rain and sarcasm seaweed. What is your opinion on going end of July to this city?
My husband and I subscribed to u guys but you never mentioned the name of that bikini place in playa del carmen that you made in the boutique. U never mentioned the name?
Thanks for a great video this place is now on my bucket list. Viagra give it a few decades will be your best friend lol. Loved your lux video but out of my price range stick to atmosphere kanifushi.
This video is for those wanting a tourist experience but these suggestions are cringe like fifth Ave recommendation and to stay close to that area not smart and very very touristy also this is where all the pickpocketing crime happens. You will not have a Mexican experience especially food wise be because the restaurants on fifth are everything but Mexican food. And expensive. The best beaches are further north like beach 66 beach 86 and point Esmeralda these are more beautiful wider least amount of people they do have bathrooms and showers and have a few resorts but way way less than the congested areas down south near centro.
It’s amazing how negative can people be, they found more negative than positive things! Awful! Besides, you are in Mexico and you don’t try mexican food? Italian, french… but not mexican. I prefer other content creators 🙋🏻♀️
Sad to say but me and my family don't go down south anymore into Mexico because of all the kidnapping and drug wars with all the Cartel's... Mexico has gotten very expensive, especially PDC/Cancun.It's not worth moving there unless you are very wealthy.
If you know some Spanish, there are plenty of better options. @@neilcharles2520
I'm so excited, I'll be visiting on Tuesday. My friend and I are trying to go visit Holbox. What's the easiest way to get there?
By bus for sure
Well bus is the cheapest, taxi is the more efficient way
Ok and I know the ferry stops at a certain time so we'll leave in the morning 😁 we're going to check out the ruins & cenote tour
There are many cenotes, check out our 1st few videos where we went center hopping and show you a few of the best ones!!

is going to PDC during August a bad idea in terms of seaweed and hurricane season? is it better to go in November?
Hi, yes, lots of seaweed in August! but you can get a place with a pool :) November still might be some but much less

Thank you, Isabel! It didn't have the name at the time we were filming, it just opened up. We added google maps link in the description

Always so hilarious that Americans are afraid of Mexico. Y'all let little kids get shot at school but ok.
It's people like you that keep the prices low and my family to thrive down here.
