Thanks ROYAL ENFIELD ENGINEER BEN and RE TEAM for bringing us the new 450 Himalayan it sure has impressed allot of riders and should be a runaway success all over the planet with the high cost of petrol all over the globe etc. I really enjoy this RE Podcast to explain the history of the Sherpa engine design and cannot wait to see Royal ENFIELD best bike ever at my local dealer in Lacy WA when they become available to buy and ride. I really like hearing about the excellent fuel economy of the 450 single engine over its larger displacement rivals and practical performance that allows genuine long range ability to conquer the mountains of your next adventure were gas stations are not common.
I’m hoping there will be a sports model using the Sherpa engine, maybe along the lines of the original 250 Continental; reliable and +10 hp on a 450 desmo….. it could be such a great bike (as indeed I’m certain the new Himalayan will be!)
Yammie Noob in his channel says who was given the Himalayan to ride....was saying that the vehicle is stalling...is the issue pre-production bike issue? Is it true?
Interesting interview of a promising motorcycle. I only wish it had cruise control since it has "ride by wire". I would be willing to pay the extra cost..Maybe in the future there will be such an option and it would be great if the older owners would be included. Such moves increase the prestige of the company and is a win win scenario for both the customers and the company.
Wonderful video, very interesting discussion and pleasing tone of conversation. Loved the original Ls4 was a cracker of a bike, modest and tasteful ave extremely capable. The new one is very exciting prospect. Thankyou Royal Enfield and all the wonderful engineers and designers and workers who bring these bikes to us.
Its high time royal enfield brings out a modern parallel twin based on the 450 architecture... It will take royal enfield outlook tona different dimension. Some 900cc 80 bhp 80 nm torque . Light hightech
My dream bike is gt650 And my brother booked two and half months ago. we never got the bike.and your showroom dealer cant tell us when will we get the bike. issue is my brother is going abroad this month,if you guys didnt give us the bike then he will cancel the order 😭😢
I Love how RE made longer podcast videos instead of a single backstory film.
Such videos are too interesting
that engine look, sound and tunning - so sexy, once i heard that engine in itchy boots channel is what got my attention initially.
Same
It's just 🤌🔥
Don't call it noise, call it sound !
True
Exactly right. "Noise" is unwanted sound. People love the Enfield thump.
Going to a 450 I think was a good move. Can’t wait to test one. As you’ve now got a 450 what’s the likelihood of seeing a RE team in the Dakar ?

Do a sherpa 650 how about that idea?
Absurd!

I have a Meteor and I'm very tempted to get the new Himalayan as a second bike. I love the whole approach of RE.

I see there has been no official replies to any of the questions here. Why ? It does not inspire confidence in the channel.
