Better education is the way forward. Ideally, the social media companies would take responsibility too, but they won't until forced by law, because developing the tools required will be expensive.
The age gap mentioned is irrelevant. What matters is the nature of the interaction, which in Olivia's case was obviously manipulative, coercive and predatory, but it would still have been manipulative, coercive and predatory had the 'boy' been 15, or younger, or any other age.

I agree 100%....EDUCATION ( sorry for yelling)
Education is the first and best idea..our children need this for their safety...and it's a shame that some people think that they don't because of religious beliefs or that their children are to young...unfortunately these monsters that do this are hoping and waiting for these kinds of kids so they can prey and use them to do awful things...
