I just started knitting earlier this month, and finished a mini scarf for my cat with the garter stitch so I came into this only feeling confident in my basic knitting stitch, and coming here with only a basic understanding of how to purl (knowing the concept and more or less how to do it with no technique), after watching your video I finally understand an easy way to do my purls! Thank you for this tutorial and your website for giving easy to understand tutorials for both how to do the actual knitting and the guide to how to read knitting patterns. They are really helpful and it’s really encouraging as a new knitter to be able to understand such interesting looking stitching easily.
