They removed the mechanic because of the duplication glitch, I did it so much I was surprised nothing happened to my account in 2013.
@3213232 1231223 usually they did because of the specific servers that got everyone billions when they robbed a store. They patched so many things their servers went offline

The mechanic actually works for the FBI and simply gets spy drones to deliver the cars; you simply don't see them.
Nah he is just a hacker from watch dogs 2 and had enough skill points to control cars
The mechanic delivering cars to you instead of them just teleporting was removed from the game because he would keep crashing the car while delivering them, and he was also prone to being killed by another player.
I still miss Johnny on the spot, dude always came through.

The mechanic was removed because of an car duplication glitch where you get a wanted level, call the mechanic, let the cops kill you and impound your car. The mechanic would bring a duplicate which could be sold.
They also removed all funny launch into the air Glitches sadly. It was like gta 4 and the death swing but Rockstar removed it..
Instead of patching things like North Yankton and the aircraft carrier online they need to add them then people won't glitch them into the game.

Who remembers when you won a race and it showed you and your vehicle at the end, it would show the condition the car finished in. Letting others see you won with that much damage shows extra skill needed to pull off that win.

Have amazing defensive skills almost like I know what they're planning to do from so much experience dealing with so many unskilled racers. It takes more skill to race clean, you should try it sometime.

Gta back then was legit all about glitches that’s the reason everyone played. Now it’s just ass.
I remember when the game first came out and online you were able to give other players money if they were broke. Or if your friend was broke you could have them steal a car off the street and you could take it in the auto shop for them hook it up for them and give it to them. Both was patched, they hate when you have fun.

I remember a dupe glitch involving the mechanic, shortly after that the mechanic was removed. I have a feeling, that's probably why he was removed.

Cargo plane, share cash, bombushka cargo ramp storage, selling in invite only lobbies via the master terminal and the days of the old freemode events
I miss when lester would randomly call you to kill a target online and lots of people would chase it.
Remember the freemode trucks that drove around periodically and you could destroy the doors on the back of them for cash?

I am also upset about the invisible wall inside the Bombushka, so you can't enter the hatch with a car, same with the Titan and also the Cargobob. I mean I only bought the bombushka because you could enter it with a car
You can still enter it with a car but you need to remove all upgrades

You can have pretty much everything but JATO thrust. I tried it awhile ago with a random car off the street and a friend's Insurgent.
I remember when the back door of the titan and the cargobob could be opened by bashing or shooting it and you could actually put vehicles in them. Then they patched it saying it was "A liability to the players safety", like WTF does that even mean......
If you happen to own a titan as a personal aircraft, you can go into vehicles then doors open the cargo ramp and get vehicles inside.

@@hatad321 I know they patched the bombushka so you couldn't put objective or mission vehicles in it for more than 30 seconds or they would warp through and then proceed to fuck up your aircraft if you were landed, idk if the titan follows the same rule.

Titan has no conditions on it.

I remember when the mechanic got removed at the time there was a car duplication glitch that involved using him that me and my friends took advantage of for like a week I think and when the glitch got patched he was removed, so I always figured the reason he was removed was to prevent glitches like that
Honestly if you’ve never experienced “Johnny on the spot” driving at breakneck speed down the highway towards Paleto then you’ll definitely not appreciate the system we have now. No return vehicle option back then either. Car would be delivered trashed or taken for a joyride.

I feel that seeing how expensive everything in gta is now that ALL businesses besides maybe the nightclub should be buffed in pay. Like the Coke buisness could pay 750k meth 675k counterfeit cash 600k etc. like u said, bunker should pay like 1.8 mill,crates I feel should pay 3 mill for a full warehouse, import export like 300k and all the og heists and doomsday heist should also get buffed in pay(maybe not bogdon cuz ya know) and act 3 should pay out 4 mil MINIMUM

The mechanic bugs I believe were tied to whether you started running around after calling it in and that messing with the path finding. If you stayed still or on the same side of the same street it never had a problem for me
Thought I was the only one that remembered the stun gun thing. They got rid of it so fast. I remembered me and a couple of crew members taking turns shocking this player for a solid 5 minutes. It was so funny, he couldn't get out of the cycle. Then we had a guy call for his car, we shocked him one more time and booked!

I remember playing gta 5 story mode back in the days hearing a whale and me diving to find it with my older brother
The old mechanic was a true pain in the ass anywhere remote. It was working fine in the city, but around chilliad? Hell no.
Also the peyote plants get abused a lot for RP and i found it very easy to use a MK2 as an animal. The rc bandito weapon glitch could also be used as an animal, killing people with pistols and grenades.
The races will be abused by rich people and races like "criminal records" will be insane to make money. 160k you said with 16 people?
Money trucks used to be a thing and I wish they’d add the rail gun considering it’s not as bad as most of the stuff they have now days.
Then you had the target vehicle and the smuggler aircraft you could shoot down for $30k
@@Halixar The smuggler aircraft only paid $30k when you shot down a certain number. Starting out, they paid less. Target Vehicle was stealing a marked vehicle from a location, yes? I remember Online had Lester Assassination targets that would spawn.
They removed those to make room for the Freemode Events Update.
The mechanic one on ps3 used to be funny asf when he drove off at full speed with your car 😂

Tbh, what annoys me about the glitches is that money glitches and god mode took months to get patched but harmless glitches like bennys on any vehicle or paintjobs patched immediately.
Money glitches are harmless... you can't purchase jack shit anymore because the prices are so high and the money pay outs are super low.
Who do money glitches harm? No one at all.
God mode is a different story, just like the orbital cannon glitch but money glitches like car dupes are fucking harmless.

7:49 Most of these you might have no idea of the repercussions of,as a mere player,there definetely could be some soft-lock problems with most of these glitches.And glitches means unexpected behaviour,meaning that theres a high likelyhood you do something that the game doesnt expect,and it soft locks your game/session
You can do that on Xbox but it's not patchable -- You can glitch a network setting and you can get a lobby all to yourself without disconnecting anybody from GTA Online.

Watches a video of some.guys playing around in a modded mission and theu ended up doing something and it crashed their Xbox i think, not just the game itself.
There is a reason they removed them, they broke the system and caused problems so were far from "harmless"

I remember a mission called Coveted was the #1 thing alongside rooftop rumble to have fun and make good money. But then they made the amount of damage the enemies deal like crazy high.
A mansion with a automated driveway door by the golf course had the swing set glitch effect where if you would ram a car against it eventually it would chuck you to incredible distances! There was one for bicycles by the Liveinvader office as well. It would pop you up in the air allowing you to do crazy flips and shit

The mechanic would often drive away. I remember being at LSIA, calling in my entity and the mechanic drove off and started doing laps around the airport.
The north Yankton glitch sounds fun af tho tbh like imagine going to the prologue heist with friends Just to mess around there

i slowly started to forget the meaning of fun when i play gta 5 or rdr2, these games become so pointless after finishing them there is barely anything to do
I used to do this fun thing where In the back of a truck holding gravel half of you would get buried in it and I would just let the ai truck driver take me around the map but the not even a day after finding it I never found one of those truck again
They took away my 2 favourite missions, crystal clear out 2 and 3. I loved both because you could let your mind free and play the way you want with Jets, Tanks or Tactical RNG for 10-20k not much but endless fun. I began to notice that Rock Star does not want players to have fun in GTA Online unless they get to control it.
I think they removed them modded missions w cargo planes bc they also had modded missions for money. You kill pedestrians for money and you can make more than 1 mill every mission
I can see that but they easily tell the difference between Modders allowing players to drive thing that normally aren't allowed to drive and Modders making mission for people to earn a million dollars instantly.
Anyone remember the old money Glitches where money used to rain from the sky or random things spawning in on random various parts of the map

and back in those days we have controllable 747 in the airport, now it can only be spawned by mod, they don't put it out anymore
The modded missions might have cars that where removed or upcoming

5:36 Players could be anything including sharks, whales, fishes, dolphins, etc in GTA Online when Peyote Plants were enabled, they only had to swim to find and eat one in the ocean 🤪
Rockstar also took away few harmless clothing/outfit glitches too so remember that.

driving in your garage should be a feature, like you could pay for access to the auto garage shop that's in the glass and drive in there

I know this is not a red dead online video but rockstar patched one of the most fun glitches called the “bridge glitch” where you threw a knife at this plank and it would make you fly into the air and I had had hours of fun with it. But for some reason they patched it
Recently they removed the toreador glitch that made the game think you were in the water on land so you could basically could fly in the toreador and it was so fun to do but it’s gone now

The peotey plants were for special events only , like Halloween , etc.
The betting was raised to 10k for the ill gotten gains dlc later they reduced it back to 1k. They then later raised it to 10k and it stayed that way for years, then all the sudden they put it back to 1K.
The mechanic feature needs to be added back its a bit odd how the car appears out of no where

I remember the glitch when you could enter the F.I.B. building interior. I use to kill players and make them chase me to the rooftop and I’d go into the interior and they would be extremely confused. Lol, that was back when I use to enjoy playing GTA 5... I’m glad I got rid of the game because Online has become an awful place.
They removed suicide bombing, you used to be able to put sticky’s on your mate then they go into passive mode and run at an enemy then you blow the bomb up and it would kill anyone around but not your mate in passive mode. Was so funny I once got in a battle with another group and once they worked out what we were doing they started doing it to and it was like a dangerous game of tag
Back when they had 10k bets there was a glitch where you would move the time up like 3 days on your console and get around 160k max
