  • What do ya know, we found a lost edit of a VERY rainy test on the 2022 Rieju Enduro model range. Conditions, as you’ll see, were bad. So bad we struggled a bit with video content and ended with no images to make a test report on Enduro21. But any day in the woods is a good day and we found enough buried at the bottom of a kit bag to put this test review together - mainly on the MR 300 Pro two-stroke.
This video is a brief overview of the Rieju range, answering some common questions we get every time we write about a Reiju and shows we tested the bikes in some 'real world' conditions.
What with all the noise around Rieju lately including Alfredo Gomez signing up to race the Spanish manufacturer’s enduro team, we’re glad to have found this lost tape on a hard drive and put it out.
Alfredo Gomez reckons a new engine is under development for the MR 300 models - read what Alfredo told Enduro21 in our interview: enduro21.com/en/features/late...

I just love them because I'm 6'2 and they are just that little bit taller and longer than the pumpkin bikes, the power is perfect for hard enduro, they don't over heat, so don't often get on the fan even at walking pace. Kiehin SSS 38mm carb can be jetted perfectly for your local conditions at the track, no need to send computer off to tuner. The KYB's are super tune-able. I go 10-15% softer on the front valving and can get shock right with clickers and preload. The starter motors aren't an issue if you keep 100ml oil in the stator case and check clean the brushes/commutator every 100 hours. New Brushes USD $38. My 2018 300ec has 300 hours on it now, on stock piston / barrel and I just bought a new 2023 MR. All the components are really high quantity, Nissan brakes/Pads, Galfer discs, Excel Rims, FMF pipe. Seat cover/foam are great( better than anything Beta). I gear mine 13/50-51. 6 speed is perfectly spaced unlike pumpkin EXC massive hole between 1'st and 2nd. Come with high quality Polsport MX style brush guards, that won't need replacing unless you crash your brains out. The front tire is rubbish, but thats easy fixed with 90/90 or 90/100 fatty for rocks and roots. They weigh a few Kg more that pumpkin brand, but I never noticed it when riding slow or fast.
