    I bought a new 1 year old ranger 300 last year, this year I added a FMF Gnarly pipe and now this thing is a monster! Super awesome bike.

    I bought my first Rieju dirt bike at 13 years old (Maraton 50 c.c.) and the second one at 18 (MR 80 competition). Both on the oficial colors of that time: Green, white and yellow. Now, I am 50 and I own an MR300 anniversary, again, on green (you can see one of them at the begining of the video; 00:14). I own a ktm 300 and a KTM electric Freeride as well. Rieju are great enduro bikes. Greetings from Spain!

      Gracias Victor! The 80th anniversary edition is surprisingly beautiful!! Everyone who looked at it wanted it!! Also check out the MR 200 we made with ISDE colors!

      @@bikeguysoffroad Yes, the anniversary comes with the oficial colors of the Rieju in the eighties, wich were very special... This is the first MR (80c.c. with Minarelli engine) ruclips.net/video/pMvm4keyWOw/видео.html back in 1984.

      And the MR80 was preceded by the Maraton 74/80 ruclips.net/user/shorts_1DYh5-LflI?feature=share Both intensively used in the enduro and motocross races of that time.

    I'm all for fuel injection on four strokes but when it comes to two strokes I've heard of too many issues with injection. Injected two strokes just seen problematic to me and carbs are the way to go

    • @killerballs
      @killerballs Год назад

      agreed, 2 strokes about simple performance if you need fuel injection that bad buy a lectron! lol i run one on my gasgas and it literally doesnt get more simple to tune and care for. I asked them to make it for pump gas w/ ethanol and ive had zero issues.

    needs counterbalance, a revision of the rear shock, a completely redesigned starter more of a dealer network for parts and a diet.

    • @WildAzzRacing
      @WildAzzRacing Год назад +1

      Funny, when GasGas had a counterbalanced engine back in the 90's everyone said it wasn't needed on a two stroke so they ended up doing away with it. Low and behold, KTM many years later brings out a counterbalanced engine and it's the best thing since sliced bread. SMH The shock is pretty damn good off the showroom floor and way better than any KTM built machine. However, like any bike, a revalve can benefit certain riders for certain situations. The starter suffers the same issues the KTM's had when they ran the same basic setup but Rieju has been making improvements to it. Wish the dealer network was bigger but it really isn't needed as parts are easy to find online and can have anything I need normally in about a week. As for it losing weight, why? It really isn't as big of a deal as everyone likes to make it seem. If you look at actually measured weight of comparable machines they are actually quite close. Yes, a few pounds heavier but not 15-20lbs. Plus, a heavier bike tends to actually performs better in rocky terrain, IME.

    • @bikeguysoffroad
      @bikeguysoffroad  Год назад +1

      Here is a fun fact..Rieju removed the counter balancer from the engine, this dude is so smooth it really didn't need a balancer!

    • @WildAzzRacing
      @WildAzzRacing Год назад

      No, it is not and, honestly, really isn't needed. The only place you'll notice the vibration is at idle vs a KTM. Also, for the record, GasGas removed the counterbalancer from these engines way back in 1999 IIRC.
