For many years these snap ring pliers were made by a company named MILBAR and were sold by many Snap-On Tool Trucks. These were made in USA. Milbar and its owner Stride Tool seem to be out of business since they do not answer their phones. I have used the MILBAR snap ring pliers extensively in the Military/Aerospace business for over 30 years. These are unlike your common snap ring plies available at lower prices. These have never let me down because they are designed to remove/install the snap ring the first time EVERY TIME. There is no slippage and fighting the tool with many attempts to get that snap ring out. These are hardened tips that are compound bent to dig into the snap ring holes and they do not budge. I have a 12-piece set of these and paid around $300 for them about twenty years ago. None have ever failed to deliver. Cannot recommend these extreme high-quality tools more.
Great video. I have the seven piece set and is easy to check to see if anyone has borrowed a piece. I have not had a job where this set can’t handle it. The set works great on front end work for F350 and F450 trucks. Thanks for the video.
These snap ring pliers work great. I have 4 pairs of the straight nose. Really well built tool. I notice you forgot to include the ratcheting snap ring pliers, and these are most important for us heavy duty guys. Would love to see these covered and showing the interchangeable tips. I use the ratcheting snap ring pliers in John Deere hydraulic cylinder dismantling. Really good tool to have. I have an OTC and a Snap-on ratcheting snap ring pliers.
Have been watching your Videos for a long time now. I have been inspired to join the ranks of Snap On Franchisee's. I have learned a lot watching you as well. Just thought I would tell you about it. I am thinking about doing video's of my beginning adventure as a new franchisee. Keep up the great work and I look forward to more great videos...
If you deal with snap rings on a daily basis do yourself the favor and invest in the knipex snap ring pliers they blow these out of the water hands down zero comparison
Hey I got some snap on replacement pick ends for some broken tips. 3ASH90A, 3ASAA & 5ASAA. The original small picks had a multiple spline insert and the bigger pick had just a two spline insert similar to the what the screwdrivers use. Funny thing is the replacements were the exact opposite ends. The replacement small ones have a 2 spline inserts and the large had a multiple spline. Will these still work if i just hammer them in or are they actually not the correct ones ? I deal with snap on over the phone.
Holy hell. The 12 piece set is $400.00. Lol. Jesus. I have a 12 piece set of cheap ones I’ve had for 4 years that work great. I’m a professional mechanic. Who pays these prices for tools? Lol. I guess there’s a sucker born every minute.
still have my old set of blue point I bought back in the 80s

Great review on these man, can’t say I like the blow molded case with the 12 pc set, but the tools are always awesome!
thanks Jeremy
it is cool to see what you get what you do not
swr
Thanks great video and great tools 👍
make videos with tips and tool tricks, maintenance etc :D Cheerz!
I love the 7 piece set that I have I haven't found the need for the other five but I'm sure I will get them because I always have set complete anxiety
Very nice tools sir
Maybe I’m wrong and I’m happy for a correction, but the amount of plastic used to make the case for the 12 pc set seems a bit overkill.
Been wanting to buy a set of snap ring pliers but they always end up last on my list and a lot of things take priority
I got the 12 piece set there great
New sub here. Keep it up my friend. 👍
Hey Jermey! You've been missed; hope all is well. Are those the forged snap ring pliers?
You should do a video on the new p1000 motorcycle scanner

Wait what?????????????????????????? LOL Thanks for the video Jeremy and clarifying what these sets are all about, which ones are the most common used?
Whats the warranty on the pliers???
Love that orange box Jermey - what model is it?
Just curious but what does the 12 piece set usually run?
What does the 12 piece retail for
Cannot get behind these. Knipex's Precision line brings to much heat.
What’s that orange roll cart sell for
$2,300
