Bimbo, there's two earth's, that's why there's a mirror verse, but Valorant is located on ACTUAL earth, while Valoran/Runeterra is a completely fictional dimension.

Multiverse / different dimension is the obvious answer but surprisingly not a lot of people are mentioning this. They would rather believe that Riot is copying itself or that they just happened to have teams from different games work together randomly.
I feel like it's just more of a fun project if anything, bigger advertisement too.

Why are people pretending this is a bad thing. It's not like Riot is doing this on accident, my interpretation is they are slowly making Valorant an alternative universe to Runeterra.
Might be cause in Valorant there is this phenemenon of having a Mirror Earth. You could say that Zeri is the mirrored-Neon.

Actually they did, remember the event on web while Arcane is premire? The Shard explode and making the Universe of Riot collapse, u can travel from Lol to TFT, and Valorant to meet KJ, bring back the Blueprint for Heimerdinger.
Props to the voice actress, they really come off as two different people.
Yeah, there are many Filipino VA that are talented, heck when Japanese Anime is being localized into the Philippines they sound like the original VA as if they are just reading Tagalog but they can't really show off their talent as they aren't that many opportunities the most recent one is "Trese" and the last before that is "RPG metanoia" and that is more than a decade ago

Theya already said that the valorant and league teams decided to work together on there new champs so they just designed them around the same ideas

its more than that all of league's champs skins were presumed to be cannon alternate time lines or universes like star guardian or Odessey we could even see this different timelines battle in TFT one of the reasons their mmo has the potential to be

That's actually cool, cuz as a player of both of this games it's really nice to see a familiar face in them. There's an actual theory roaming around Valorant lore, that since Valorant is future Earth, it's possible that LoL exists or existed there as well (a lot of easter eggs on maps and bp hints that). So my theory is that Zeri is kind of role model for Neon or some kind of reference. Having electro power can be random, but hairstyle and looks can be inspired by champion. I would love to see more of this type of similarities in future!
i think this is awesome to see that they can put to characters alike together in two diffrent games and the thing is they can be twins or like some sort of diffrent version of themselves since she also just said *mom was right* meaning that there is a mom in between that can be the mother for both girls and neon might be younger or some
If I am correct, they teased jett once in a LOL related video. My theory is that VAL and LOL are parallel universes cuz when chamber was released, people talked about how a character from LOL is also like a weapon wielding character like chamber and dont forget the biggest hints, the crabs on split and the crab related stuff on ascent

It was teased on an already alternate universe skin line, all skin lines have their own universes in league. But its was just an Easter egg .

League is a game inside the world of valorant. So riot must be existing inside valorant, remember Killjoy is hinted playing league of legends.

looking back on how Riot screwed up the Ruination event on League, I think these two have something to do with the Riot X Arcane event, maybe in the earlier version of the event's story these two characters were included and supposed to tie things together but something goes wrong on the development or something like that so they cancelled it and went with the version we got, I hope I'm wrong and this actually means some juicy crossover stuff between League and Valorant is coming, we'll see

It follows the lore. Valorant is using Neon as the power source to open the multiverse so it makes sense that someone working with Ekko time lord will make portals for interdimensional travel too

I have always said that jhin would be the best league champ that could cross into valorant. After Chamber came out though I figured a slow trap and a sniping ult is too much of a crossover of abilities.

I feel like they will add League characters in Valorant eventually. Lore wise, Zeri will be the Neon from an alternative universe(maybe). Like maybe killjoy will make another portal again and it leads to the League's universe.

If they really wanted to be lazy and use the same VA to save money, why use the exact same hairstyle, ability, and "mom" references and release them within days of eachother??? As if that kind of hairstyle isn't something that makes them easily recognizable? These things could've easily been tweaked to create a completely new character. Riot has been consistent in giving us unique character concepts with every release...HELL THEY EVEN DEBUTED A MOCK UP KPOP GROUP WITH REAL SONGS AND MVs. I just remembered that video Necrit put out some time ago concerning zeri before she was announced, that she would be played like an fps character which is neon.
Riot was just behind in the schedule so they probably mixed the teams to make the character out of the same base model recording the voicelinws at the same time etc... to save time
