THIS GUY IS A TRUE FABRICATOR HE HAS A VISION AND EXECUTES IT FLAWLESSLY!!! HATERS DONT HAVE A CLUE WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT THEY ARE JELIOUS!! CHAD AND JOLENE PLEASE CONTINUE TO SHARE YOUR VISION. GREAT WORK
We live in a society of instant gratification...which has caused many to have a minuscule attention span! I personally appreciate someone who is willing to take the time to show detail and to educate. I am almost 70 years old, and I am still on the learning curve!
I did the same thing on a 1955 Plymouth savoy it was weeks and weeks doing the work. I wish I could have gotten the video sooner. It is really incredible the amount of work you can do in a hour .Awesome job Chad. Thanks for the video Jolene
One of the many things I like and admire about the Hilz creations is that Chad progresses quickly, but he doesn't rush things. It's totally amazing how he gets himself out of trouble and creates something truly masterful, Thanks for sharing and doing the excellent bideography
Great job and you gave the old Dodge the right amount of love! Let's face it she's not going to sema or Barrett-Jackson anytime soon. However she's a beautiful antique car that deserves the repair to be done right! U nailed it!
Chad shows that you just need a few tools to do a job. He breaks it down and makes it simple so that anybody can do it if they follow his instructions. Jolene is wonderful with the video and sound. Thanks Chad and Jolene!
Hi Chad and Jolene, I sympathize with you and your struggles with "Double-Clutching". It took me a long time to learn as well. If I may, can I offer a couple hints? On the upshift I notice that you stop at neutral. It would be better to make this shift as one motion, while keeping the Clutch movement in synch ( simply try to time your second clutch action with your action of going from neutral to the higher gear. On the Downshift, I believe it is better to simply wait until you stop and then go directly to first gear, skipping the gears in between, but if you really need to downshift only one gear, then pause between gears is good, but the throttle also needs to be involved. The trick is you need for the gears to be spinning close to the same speed in order to make a smooth shift. That is done by pausing in neutral and then applying light pressure against the lower gear while gently pushing down on the throttle. When the gears are ready to mesh it will just slide into the lower gear. Really, using the clutch is optional with this action, but it does make it smoother some times. It is obviously hard to describe this in words without a demonstration, but I hope it helps a little. Be Blessed, Glen Harman
Keep up with the great videos Jolene, and I love to watch you work Chad, because you teach people at the same time. I hope to start my own project on a 1954 Chevy 3100 pickup soon, and watching your videos, gives me the confidence and courage to get it done. Thank you for what you share with each video! 😊
You got to appreciate this man's work ethic. This is hard tedious work. I done it 40+ years til I quit, and just work on my cars now. I always enjoy tuning in and seeing what's shaking in Nova Scotia! Doing good my friend.
Alottttt of welding...and nice instructional video and my hats off to Queen Jolene on her awesome camera work...those close ups were awesome 😊..excellent..right in the action...cya tomorrow 👏
The Plymouth Savoy is coming along very nicely. Chad is working his magic with the sheet metal. I really appreciate how he explains the process. Jolene is doing a really great job with the camera. Fina is doing important doggie stuff in the background. She needs a hug and a treat.
You do some amazing work! And you show us how to do it in an easy way we can understand with just common tools! I love watching you create your project
Yes, it's very easy to critique others. I think it's because they don't understand that Chad is simply showing how things can be done using basic tools on a budget. Not everyone wants to spend 80k on an old car. This is for the people who want to say I did that and just have fun.
daily something his brain made-unsafe when parked its art-period NHTSA requirements are over 2' of books vehicles have 100s of engineers working over a year on pre-prototypes before certification to produce nothing wrong with a man with a shop playing
I think it looks damn good, I'd be thrilled if that was my car. He didn't spend hours manipulating one piece of metal on various machines, but it sure looks like he did. This cat has some tricks.
Sir , all of us long timers say if you don’t appreciate Sir Chad & Ms. Jolene go away, please. we here are so happy they are off to down under, where people respect themselves and their neighbors, and treat others with respect.
Jolene as Chad says, “looks amazing today” and the work Chad does is amazing. Thank you both for incredible content everyday. I thought today you would not with the big storm but here you are. Dedicated is just not sufficient to describe you both. Thank you.
Chad is a real fabricator. This simple thing of being able to see where you are at and where you want to be then figure out the travel path from point A to B. He is fantastic at this.
I’m really enjoying this project and hope you keep her stock. A point of interest for several of the commenters, this is not the rear bumper, it is the rear valance, or modesty panel. The bumper is a fairly large chrome piece that will be installed with brackets. Great video work, Jolene, as usual.
It's amazing how much rust & surface rust is actually hiding in this old girl. Sadly it wasn't done right the first time..when it comes time to write a book about your life you should call it "What lies beneath"...great work guys & greetings from sth Australia 🇦🇺 👍
I dont care what some viewers comments are about the way Chads fixes stuff. He gets it done and it looks great 👍 i enjoy watching and that makes me happy. Well done 👏
Well done Chad! The fine grinding with the zip cut is nice, but a 3 inch zip cut on a die grind and you have a much easier and control over the grinding. Die grinder is easier on your hands and arms as well 👍
Chad that tail pan sure is looking good and the quarter panel looks good too time you get done with the car no one will be able to afford the car it will be worth alot
Jolene ❤ once Chad repairs the old girl and lays down some paint on her will you keep her for a daily driver ? Chad the repairs look great Thumbs-up on your build !❤
chad you will have hearing loss from that grinder because i have high pitch scweal in my head after 40 years of no ear protection you be goin ay wat carnt hear ya syndrome ps you are the creator of wonderdul things cheers
Jolene can you please show this question to Chad please 🙏 I am begging to weld because I want to restore my wife's Monte Carlo SS that I crashed. I bought a Flux core wire feed welder and it tells me all the metal thicknesses it can do but my question is do you know if it's a weaker weld or are the welder like you have that require gas are better. If you have time I really value your opinion.
Just wondering but wouldn't a ball peen hammer work better where it sweeps up there on the bumper in the middle ? Probably not eeh if so I guess you would be using it. I'm sorry I forgot who I was asking that question. Keep on keeping on bud.
I think Jolene dudes make great videos and they are very educational videos and keep up the good work I wish all of bast for you how is facted buy the hreacaners
Chad buddy pal let's mod it up some ? Like make the fins taller and stretch them out some ,and lower it down 2 inches of tub it out . Just do something bad make it different not like the others !, Thumbs-up Jolene ❤and Chad and team Hiltz what do you say ?

I hope you had no problems with the storm looking good thanks to the to of you
You can actually weld it up quicker if you drop down on heat just a bit. Love the videos/content y’all produce.
I’ve welded my exhaust using a coat hanger and acetylene, never using a mig, but I didn’t have one at the time.
Amazing sculpture on a 56 Plymouth....incredible.
Am glad I’m watching this because I’m a handyman so when I get my shop sooner than I will start doing the work

Looks really good now Chad. Jolene keeps making great videos.
If you ain't got one, you should buy a pneumatic handheld belt sander. Would save you tons of work on tricky areas.
Most wonder how Chad gets so much done in an hour answer is how many times does he check his phone in an hour
Jolene ❤ once Chad repairs the old girl and lays down some paint on her will you keep her for a daily driver ? Chad the repairs look great Thumbs-up on your build !❤

In case you are wondering they do make knee pads with roller balls in them so that the inventories would go faster. Just a tidbit of info!!
Great job, I would do a bit longer welds and keep jumping over to the other side over the panel and use less air
Great job,👍🏻👍🏻👏✔️🤠🇬🇧
I think Jolene dudes make great videos and they are very educational videos and keep up the good work I wish all of bast for you how is facted buy the hreacaners
