Chad, I have a 1956 Plymouth Belvedere that I'm going to start rust repair (mostly lower quarter panels, doors, etc.). Your work on the Savoy has been a tremendous help and given me confidence to go ahead and tackle mine. Many, many thanks to you, Jolene and Doug.
Chad says "I usually go off the first one" while building the mount, is something our woodshop teacher taught us in high school. He called it "Cumulative Error". If you trace off the 2nd piece, it's going to be off a fraction of an inch, and the 3rd one will be off that much more, and then the next, and so on...
Watch your show almost every day . Love your work and get er done attitude. You and Jolene are a real inspiration to young people and old not to be scared to try . I have a 56 dodge Royal Lancer 2 door that I bought when I was 18 and drove it for a couple of years till the original motor seized up 315 wedge hemi. Been wanting to redo it since but don't have the shop space to rip it down . But before I'm 60 I'm going to get at it with your Plymouth project your a real motivation to do it . Take care of yourself
Love the show Chad and I watch everyday. Jolene you are very good at the video. You make it easy to watch and show us what we need to see. Great job Jolene!
The floor is coming along nicely. To make it easier to drill a large hole, you could start with a center punch then a pilot hole. Also, you might consider a bench vise to hold the bracket when drilling.
Don't forget to drop your mount bolts in before you weld the mount on otherwise you'll have to come from bottom up! Love your work! I've learned a lot!
This is a great show. I cant help but watch it everyday. My wife knows before I put it on. She loves when I m happy and this makes me happy. Thanks Chad and Jolene.
There is nothing more valuable than a person who knows how to accomplish a job! And when that person knows how to teach the techniques and practices necessary to get the job done everyone in the world benefits. Of course I'm talking about FINA...just joking. You know what I mean. You know why I love watching this youtube show? Because I get excited about the possibilities of what can be repaired or build from scratch! My mind dreams about getting old cars back in operation and driving again. Thanks Chad for letting us into your world for a little while.
Hi Chad & Jolene, no wonder the door was out farther than the original 1/4 panel people just kept welding new sills over the old ones. They probably shimmed the doors out at some point. Nice mounts chad it is coming along very nicely. Nice camera work as always Jolene, you two really make such a good team.
Get yourself a drill press Chad. With a vise you will be so much safer. I’ve drilled like you are and when it catches it can really hurt. Doesn’t happen with a drill press. Just a bench size would be great. Just don’t want you to get Hurt , mate.
I’ve seen somebody stick a drill in the top of their foot holding it like that too after it slipped off the piece .it makes a damn awful mess of ya foot ..
I think Chad is a chancer with all his power tools certainly doesn't show you how to use them safely. One of the guys that says been doing it for years I haven't hurt myself yet. Going to hurt himself real bad one day.
Hi guys! Love this episode and the Plymouth. Hey Chad don't hurt yourself ! I know you are Old School and aren't into high tech shop tools but the bench vice was invented in 1830. Don't risk drilling your toe. You probably should center punch the metal before you drill. Thanks for all your skill, talent and projects!
Hey Chad ,and Joline , The Car Looks Awesome,Chad you do amazing work ,I enjoy watching your Builds and love the cars . Keep up all the Hard Work making them amazing Rides .
Hey Hi again Bad Chad & Jolene from here in the D Michigan hey the motor city 😊 thanks for your time and video update on repair for body mounts, I really appreciate and love the square stock design you built Chad 😊❤🎉
Great work Jolene. Chad cuts and butts and you click to show us the flick. Suggestion on the mounts place the bolt in thru the frame and newly made mount then welder up for alignment. Question? Since you made the rear quarter panels while the sill was still on and lined her up with the outside one, you will have to use the outside one of the three sills no matter what correct?
Looking good Chad, but will you need to adapt the two lengths of straight stock that runs across the rear to allow for the up and down movement of the suspension and the propshaft ?
It's not cherry. What will it be worth when it's nicely done? In some ways it will be better than new, but with a lot of modifications. There's still lots of rust to deal with.
Hope you live where there’s zero rain, zero humidity, because all that covered up corrosion is going to go through that new unprotected metal like a hot knife thru butter.
Such amazing camera work. The two of you put on a terrific show

Bad Chad makes everything look so easy. Love this RUclips channel ❤❤❤
Chad does more in an hour than most do in a day, and he shares his knowledge while doing it.
I love it.
Pure art with amazing welding skills to boot and great camerawork!
Chad at his best, explaining work in simple terms. Thanks to Jolene for bringing it to us!
That's why you need a handle on that grinder before you loose your hand safety first chad
Whare is your safety boots today
Great content all the time , y’all keeping it interesting.

Hard work that nobody will see , but so well done anyway

Good evening Jolene and chad hope you had a wonderful day and thank you for sharing
Very inspiring as always. Wish though you would use a chop saw cutting square tubing etc for safety reasons.
Thanks!
Mind blowing closeups from Queen Jolene the closeup Queen. Great job. Bill
Good job Chad good on the video work queen . 👍🇭🇲
thanks for ideas and execution on those ideas.
Chad you are the best teacher and Jolene is the best at recording it all.
Excellent work. Another fine tutorial.
Don't forget to drop your mount bolts in before you weld the mount on otherwise you'll have to come from bottom up!
Love your work! I've learned a lot!
if you drop the bolts in then you can't change the mount if the rubber fails , weld the nut to the top of the mount
Nice - appreciate your craftsmanship.
It is getting better every day.
Great work
Nice mount design!
The floor is looking great Chad and Jolene 👍

Yep, get a decent drill press that will cater for a milling cross vice.
He has a few rusting away in his storage and many other tools.
Starting with a pilot hole helps alot.
Great job Chad.
Great work Chad
The Champ lands another KO BOOM BABY! 😉✌
Great shots Jolene!
You make it look so easy and inspiring . All I need now is a Lincoln welder 😂

"How would Chad do this?" I've been doing bodywork on my old truck and I keep asking myself that question.
Bad Chad one word can describe your work. Excellent!!!!! Jolene one work can describe your work. Excellent!!!!!. The camera is steady. No shake.
Wow 3 layers
Step by step...love how he explains everything...lots of useful information...so thank you both for that...Car is looking great 👍...cya tomorrow
Funny, I find welding very relaxing! I welded for over 30 years when I worked for a big steel mill.
Thanks chad and joline, one advice also, try to not plunge the saw blade when you cut that way you will save the saw blade to last longer
Nice 👍
Again, I'm spending my Cocktail Hour with Chad, Jolene and Fina. Where is Doug and Nate?
Looking good Chad, but will you need to adapt the two lengths of straight stock that runs across the rear to allow for the up and down movement of the suspension and the propshaft ?
That is going to be a nice car when you get it finished. Wouldn't mind having it myself. Looking good guys!🤗

I'm like it good job
You should get a rolling work bench. Your body will thank you in years to come.
Square stock. Strong. And. Neat.
