It boggles my mind how you make everything work: you're a perfectionist who doesn't allow your perfectionism to paralyze you. You tackle every puzzle with energy and your years of experience and knowledge. You're an inspiration to watch!!!
Chad I' m sorry if those are mistakes, I would gladly pay for that job, than some others I've seen. Quarter panels are only close to fit. it is a miracle if they fit perfect. YOU MADE THOSE QUARTERS, then shaped them to fit , 2 of them not 6 months not a year. What you do in a few weeks, makes me 2nd guess the cost and the lack of craftsmanship most shops charge and the excuses why it has to equal the cost of a whole other car. But to be fair thank God there are just enough people like you two to show people how to restore a vehicle back to a joyful and proud experience ! There are some perfect people who feel this work is under them to do , what it really is -IS THE LACK OF CONFIDENCE with in them selves to face the same criticism they themselves would have to face. So thank you for letting us experience your art and thank you for having the CONFIDENCE to do so . Thanks David Always watching!!!!!!!
CHAD YOU ARE A ARTIST!! THE MICS ARE GREAT... IF THERE WAS SOMETHING HIGHER THAN A QUEEN.... THAT'S WHAT YOU WOULD BE QUEEN JOLENE... YOU BOTH ARE AWESOME!!!!
I haven't seen this model of car in my 30-40 years of being around them.i learn firsthand besides welding about working on car read a lot of parts book was a Chevy retail pars salesman or a while grew up in old car hot rods the good bad and the ugly .this channel rocks besafe wif the fires and all other stuff.
That was a great tutorial. I often find myself in this situation with heavy filling involved due to mismatched panels and I have a feeling like I'm botching the job doing the hanger-fillers and then grinding it out. After this video my self-esteem and self-confidence just went up a notch thanks to you!
I can't believe that you have fabricated quarter panels. My Dream Team is doing it again. You seem to enjoy what you do. I'm important with your talent and explanation as you go. It makes me feel that I could do it to. Keep educating us guys. I watched your videos every morning. Jolene does such a great job at behind the camera. My Dream Team makes my day.
WOW !!!!! I was worried about the big hole along the tail light But you got er done an closed up just fine,,great job on it chad,,the sound is great on this end Jolene,,hi to all of you an fina too,,luv ya’s 👍👍😀
Great job fabricating those quarters. Both the quality of filming and fabrication have increased exponentially. That eastwood contour tool really makes the metal look good too. I tried to purchase one a few years ago but they didn't have any sanding drums in stock back then.
Those are very large gaps to close up where the two pieces of metal are joining together. The good old coat hanger method does awesome work on fixing those large gaps. Great work Chad. Blazing welding the panels would just cause wild distortion in the metal panels big time. The older cars are the best to work on big time. Any car past 1970 is to modern for me. One sweet old car there. Looking great to me.....here.
Hi again Chad and Jolene from the D Michigan hey the motor city 😊 thanks for your time and video, Chad I love watching you working and especially your welding, remind's me of when I was a machine builder and I wasn't a welder but when I had to weld I just put too much welding on and grind the extra off 😅 hey covered with paint 🎉😊😊
Good choice of Mics'.They filter out the tool noise a treat.Nice response in the voice frequencies too. Good little project.Quite a quick fix really... Keep up the good work guys 👍👍
Mics sound great 👍🏻. Brother Man you are an absolute amazing artist with metal. It’s just freaking amazing what you can do and how fast you can do making it happen and looking effortlessly. Extremely talented and I’m very impressed by your skills. The can send you to school and buy you the books but that want give you the eye and the vision to do what you can do with metal. Thank you very much for all of the amazing content you guys put out EVERY DAY BOTH JOLENE AND YOUR SELF.
Too soon to tell about the Mics ! Thought the prior ones were fine but you're probably worried about Jolene's hearing and safety as well ; I agree! Doing a fine job ,nice to see Nathan and the Bird! Good job all around!
I just love it when Chad is throwing all them complements about Jolene he loves her to death The mics work good more of a deep softer tone🎤🎤 And work with the Plymouth looks real good panels shaping up and love the details on why he does things a certain way👍
Chad, I'm learning quite a bit about welding and what you can do with a MIG welder. I would never have thought you could fill sheetmetal with a coat hanger. My metal shop teacher would have choked me if he saw me doing that! LOL! 🙂 But, he was a TOOL. But he taught us a lot. The Thunderbird is very different. I would have liked the shifter to come through the console. But, if it works--it works. Nice job on the Plymouth.
It is just amazing to watch Chad do his magic, and it would be impossible without Jolene’s excellent camera work. You two are the best of the best. I think the mics were a slight improvement, but I really didn’t have any issues with the old ones. Great job as usual.
Both of you really doing a magnificent job on that car. I think it’s time you both have a small break and enjoy onside those of those four walls Because we want you to carry on for a few more years.👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Always great videos. Love the work you do and Jolene is fantastic with the camera. Still watching past videos of yours here and on FB, great stuff. The new microphones are very good, sound doesn’t seem to fade in and out and clear sound. Background noise is minimal. Good improvement. See you tomorrow!
The new microphone is gorgeous. 🎙✅ I no longer have to turn down the volume every time you're using the grinder, zip cut etc.. Great job with the side panel and taillight area 😎👍
Hi Chad, Jolene, & Nathan, I can't really say which mics are better, sorry I am not much help. I would say the biggest test would be outside to see if there is as much wind noise as the old mics. I will say that I did not hear the new mics drop there level when Chad turned his head.Chad is really working that 1/4 panel to make it fit properly at the back. Nathan is hard at it on the T/Bird getting the mechanicals to work out. Jolene great job on the video and you really know what shots to get like shooting inside the trunk to show us how the welding was sealing out the light coming through. You are always trying to improve the videos such as trying new mics.
The shifter on the T-Bird is wild. But correct me if I'm wrong here ... Isn't first gear really low on that transmission? Like first gear on my old truck, we call it granny low, I take off in second unless I'm pulling fence posts. Like first in the race hauler. Metal work is looking good today!
Hey Chad, if it was easy it wouldnt be any fun. Seeing the buckle at the vertical center weld . Low spot. Will you be breaking out the torch and the cold water sponge to shrink it back into place ? That would be an interesting little episode . Continue.
The panels are looking good, the new MICs have a better soound to me, they seem to cut out back ground scratch better....and the Bird is looking AWESOME!
Captstu from Spring Texas said I really enjoy your show and watch Daily the sound is great and the light is too can't wait till ya"ll get back on the Buggaati hauler❤
It was cool that you started working right off the bat! no need to spend 10 minutes talking about what you are going to do. Just do it OK..... Sounds great Jolene keep up the good work
mics sound great I am always amazed at the control you have on the zip cut, that thing has a mind of it's own until you have a thousand hours of wrestling with it lol.
The new microphones are better but not as good as they were about two months ago, I do think you do a great job, and I think it’s awesome that you want to make it better!
the new microphones are great, as the background noise is eliminated and Chad's voice is very clear. Thank you Jolene and Chad for the great videos.
It boggles my mind how you make everything work: you're a perfectionist who doesn't allow your perfectionism to paralyze you. You tackle every puzzle with energy and your years of experience and knowledge. You're an inspiration to watch!!!
It is very perfect in how he put 1950 Ford Shoebox rear bottom quarter panels on this car and customized it.

Great camera work there Jolene 👌🏻 You’re really showing Chad creative talent in his work.
CHAD YOU ARE A ARTIST!! THE MICS ARE GREAT... IF THERE WAS SOMETHING HIGHER THAN A QUEEN.... THAT'S WHAT YOU WOULD BE QUEEN JOLENE... YOU BOTH ARE AWESOME!!!!
Your work is affecting people from all over the world bro. Not just the US or Canada . Great content folks
Great job Chad and Jolene! It's neat how you can grind down the welds and smooth out the metal! Enjoy watching you everyday!!
Did he paint any of the inside areas you can't get to with the qtr pnl on? I guess we'll never know!
This is a good chance to show us just what went wrong and how to repair it ! A great learning process ,! Thumbs-up Jolene ❤ and Chad and team Hiltz
Got 'er done again, Chad. Every time I think Jolene's camera work can't get better, she makes another terrific video. A great duo.

Thanks you 3, once again for the therapy...😊👍🏻
50's cars and old trucks are where it's at, for me !

The new mic is better. The back of the car is looking much better as well. Jolene does a fabulous job on the camera for us to see.
WOW !!!!! I was worried about the big hole along the tail light But you got er done an closed up just fine,,great job on it chad,,the sound is great on this end Jolene,,hi to all of you an fina too,,luv ya’s 👍👍😀
I appreciate the setup details and closeups on your work. I was just using some of your wellding/grinding techniques last weekend.
Chad is an artist when it comes to metal shaping
This car is simply perfect for a Dad and Son restoration project ! 😁👍🏻
This has been a great tutorial series

Nice job , Jolene as always great filming, thanks for sharing
Thanks for showing us the settings on the weldpak, Jolene
Good choice of Mics'.They filter out the tool noise a treat.Nice response in the voice frequencies too.
Good little project.Quite a quick fix really...
Keep up the good work guys 👍👍
Some of the camera work is so great and up close I think I can feel the heat from the welder!😅 great job both of you.
Mics sound great 👍🏻. Brother Man you are an absolute amazing artist with metal. It’s just freaking amazing what you can do and how fast you can do making it happen and looking effortlessly. Your metal work is awesome to watch.
1 hour to weld tail light and grind it, wow I say wow!

Another great lesson on how to weld without warping the metal !!!! mic's sound good Jolene, nice work as always...
Too soon to tell about the Mics ! Thought the prior ones were fine but you're probably worried about Jolene's hearing and safety as well ; I agree! Doing a fine job ,nice to see
Nathan and the Bird! Good job all around!
Those mid 50s Plymouths are some pretty cars 😎
Jolene does a fantastic job with the camera work. It's almost like we are there in person.
I just love it when Chad is throwing all them complements about Jolene he loves her to death The mics work good more of a deep softer tone🎤🎤 And work with the Plymouth looks real good panels shaping up and love the details on why he does things a certain way👍
I thought Chad's voice is a lil muffled, but definitely takes that high tone out of the grinders, I suppose we'll adjust, it is better 😊

sometimes i think you mess up just to show us how to resolve .love it looking great .thanks as always
Sound is 👍,, 1/4 panel looks great, all in all an awesome job.
It is just amazing to watch Chad do his magic, and it would be impossible without Jolene’s excellent camera work. You two are the best of the best. I think the mics were a slight improvement, but I really didn’t have any issues with the old ones. Great job as usual.
This is very impressive work.

Chad, sound is excellent! You use a zip cutter like a surgeon uses his scalpel! Great job on those quarters!
Great work with the zip cut grinding those welds. Most of us would get into trouble or get hurt.
Microphones working well. Thank you for the video.
The new microphone is gorgeous. 🎙✅
I no longer have to turn down the volume every time you're using the grinder, zip cut etc..
Great job with the side panel and taillight area 😎👍
Thanks for showing me how to fill large gaps with coat hanger sir. VERY informative.

I've watched a lot of channels but chad and Jolene are the best! This man is an artist!
Grinding like a master Roman Sculptor.
Mics work well, keep up the good work 😊
Hi Chad, Jolene, & Nathan, I can't really say which mics are better, sorry I am not much help. I would say the biggest test would be outside to see if there is as much wind noise as the old mics. Sound is good glad for the update on the thunder bird really like your videos
This kind of replacement surgery on an oldy, is EPIC to witness !!! 😳🤯😳😁👍🏻
Great camera work Jolene
Hey Chad, if it was easy it wouldnt be any fun. Seeing the buckle at the vertical center weld . Low spot. Will you be breaking out the torch and the cold water sponge to shrink it back into place ? That would be an interesting little episode . Continue.
Hey Jolene, whatever you did microphone wise, its working. The background machine noises are less irritating now, filtered and bearable. Thanks
Hi u2 and Gday from sunny Queensland , top vid this one , thank you for the way you make it easy for us to work metal , cheers
Awesome, Thanks. Sound is good

Your gear shifter on the Thunderbird looks like a factory lug wrench 😉😎
It was cool that you started working right off the bat! no need to spend 10 minutes talking about what you are going to do. Just do it OK..... Sounds great Jolene keep up the good work
mics sound great
I am always amazed at the control you have on the zip cut, that thing has a mind of it's own until you have a thousand hours of wrestling with it lol.
New Microphones sound good to me, video is exactly what I needed !!!
Very nice job Chad and Jolene The microphone 🎙️ sound good Nice work Nate
Why use a coat hanger with its impurities where you can use welding rod?
Thank you for not adding the obnoxious music that it seems nearly every other channel wants to play during their instruction.
The new microphones are better but not as good as they were about two months ago, I do think you do a great job, and I think it’s awesome that you want to make it better!
Looking really nice
Good sound and the car is coming along 👏👏👏👏
Thanks again Chad & Jolene
great close up showing integrating close hanger with weld
Cutting out the old rear guard was cool. I learnt something there..
