I think you may be the first carnivore educator on RUclips. 😅❤ My dad died in 2014 from a heart attack at 55 and his dad hied at 42 I believe. I think seed oils, sugar, and alcohol all contributed. I wish I had known about this back then but I am trying to change and be healthy for my kids. I am 40 and lifelong weight grappler but other than that blessed with good health. I need to change now so I don’t develop health issues. Hope you are doing well.

@TRUST MyFitnessPal is a decent free app if you need to get an idea of what you're eating for macros. Carbs and protein have 4 calories a gram according to the label. Fat has 9 calories per gram. An equal ratio or slightly more fat than protein grams on the label is roughly 70% fat calories. Most regular ground beef, eggs, and more are already at the perfect ratio.

This is truly good advice. I am a healthcare professional who cares for people with all types of problems where better nutrition is the answer. Before the modern world took over our grandparents cooked their food in lard ... They ate butter. They had fewer issues with obesiry, diabetes, heart issues and dimetia. However, the most important thing thing not discussed in your videos is the fact that this diet and many others (The Mediterranean diet) is going to be most beneficial when you live your life in moderation. What I am implying is: have a routine for your life, don't skip out on drinking filtered water and sleeping at night when your body regulates all of your internal processes.
Our society has become a stressful, 24/7 high tech nightmare! Many of my patients cant turn off the iPads and iPhones or even the TV! When you have devices interrupting your quality of sleep this causes excessive daytime sleepiness and has also been linked to an increase in younger generations being diagnosed with cancer, brain fog and tumors ... Especially when you have issues like obstructive sleep apnea, being on treatment, sleeping better and having a healthy routine and diet can dramatically change your health, cognitive function and your quality of life.
Thank you, Bob, for making your videos and discussing there really helpful hints, like going to the Walmart in your town and just get started. The sooner you put down that soda and eat food your body will use as fuel, the sooner wellness happens - literally overnight!

I had watched so many videos and so many cool recipes and suddenly felt like I needed to make all these foods instead of what I do now, which is, keep it simple! The first month was fun making crazy fat bombs and keto breads but I do none of that now. When I am craving something sweet I toss a few blueberries in the blender with some coconut or almond milk and 2 oz of cream cheese and a dash of stevia and some ice -- yum melted ice cream blueberry shake. Thank you for your refreshing honesty Butter Bob. I was heavy during my teenage years and peaked out at 244 when I was 17. After a comment about my butt in senior year I decided I'd had enough. This was over 50 years ago. In my mind set I concocted my own diet. In the 2 hot months of July and August of 1968 I ate nothing but boiled hotdogs and water coupled with sports at the park. I lost 60 lbs. during those 2 months. Fast forward to the present day... I've retired, I'm divorced, and through lack of ambition I've gained it all back a half century later. Your videos have finally sparked me to just get back to the basics. Thank you Bob, I'll keep you informed on my progress. It starts today.

I am glad to see someone over 25 talking about weight and diet. At 61 I am finally finding that a high fat diet helps me eat less often and feel good. However, I am mostly vegetarian and eat very little meat. I eat tons of butter and cream, nut butter, cheese and avocado everyday on vegetables, rice and other high fiber foods. I am not skinny and maybe 10lb over the recommended weight for my height. At my age I feel like a 20something. You are so right about these things. I don't feel like I have to eat flesh (no judgement) and there may be others out there who would benefit from as high fat diet who prefer not to eat flesh for ethical reasons.

From the UK - I totally agree with you. Ditched the low fat yoghurts/milk/butter etc about a year ago and now I put on my wife's shopping list to buy lard. Just found your channel and subscribed. I am leaner now due to my change of diet because of people like you than I was in my 40s (now 54 yrs old). My wife who was a UK size 10-12 has lost a stone (14lbs) of weight since subconsciously changing her nutrition.

Save the fat from cooking your meat, bacon fat, cans are wonderful reservoirs, reuse cans, although there not so plentiful in this way of eating. If the lights go out, stick a long birthday candle into your reserve for a light, good more than just for cooking with.

I think you make a lot of sense.. All my family ever cooked with was lard, and eat the meat they raised. My great-grandmaw, (Mam) lived to be 94 and she ate like this ever day of her life. she wouldnt have any junk food in her house it was all home grown meat and veggies. She used lard in everything and butter on everything. She even churned her own butter. I remember growing up going next door to her house, and eating dinner all the time. It was the BEST food ever. I am so glad there is someone like you out here explaining all this and showing people the difference in eating. Keep up the good work... I have already subscribed to your channel and am addicted to watching. Thanks again.. Beck

adding salt to coffee helps too. you can use a half-packet of splenda, along with salt, it amplifies the sweet taste and cuts the bitterness. that way you don't need much of the artificial sweetener. i do a dollop of butter, cream or full fat milk, salt and a minimal amount of splenda. it comes out perfect every time and keeps me from getting hungry until late into the afternoon.
