Thank you for reuploading this. I'm sorry for what the Undertale community "did to you", and for how it surely made you feel about your musical talent, getting that much recognition but only on its covers; but like, I was sad when I saw you deleted the original upload for this cover. Because it's literally one of the best lyrical adaptations for non lyrical media I've ever had the joy to listen. Genuinely. And the remix of the song makes it even better.
@@elias.t it happened to a lot of UNDERTALE content creators back in the day. On the zenith of UT popularity back in 2015-2016, fan content for the game was just bound to be popular. The main examples I can think of are musicians (Gooseworx, Man On The Internet, and Khamydrian, who went by "Radix" at the time), but there were also animators and artists that suffered from this. The issue in question was that somebody would make a kickass UT fan work, and it would amass an immense amount of views/popularity. So, requests would come in, and sometimes the original creator would actually go on with more UT related content. But then the OPs would want to make stuff other than just UT fan work, and this kind of content would reach a smaller audience, having the comment sections absolutely *flooded* with UNDERTALE requests, some people even went to more private, personal accounts of the OPs demanding them once again to do that one UT thing they'd like, when most of the time, the OP didn't really want to work on it. This ended up with creators having tons of "ghost followers" left over from the UT era, and getting proportionally abysmal views in content that they put a lot of effort and passion into.
@@crangejo Aw, fuck. Thanks for the explanation. That sure sounds like the fandom at the time. I subscribed to MotI for Undertale the Musical and I am still really into the stuff Alex and his friends make. (The recent Pepsiman song is just great.) YES! I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS VERSION FOR YEARS EVER SINCE I FIRST HEARD IT!! GOD, I’M SO GIDDY I FOUND THIS AGAIN AAAA!! Literally only 24 seconds into the video, but I already recognize the voice I’ve been searching for after so long!! Not that the other lyrical versions done by others are bad or anything, quite the contrary, but this one just hits different for me and nothing ever felt like it ever fill that void left when I couldn’t find it anymore. Thank you so so much for reuploading it - even though I can only speak for myself, know that this video brings me so, so much joy. I’m not totally sure about the drama mentioned in other comments, but I hope you’re doing well now and I’m so happy you’re back now!! :D
@@kaiju3646 It's about preference. I can't stand the one by Man On The Internet because of how, during some parts, it stops "following the rhythm", especially during the chorus. Another thing I don't like is how it's more spoken than sung, but that's obviously intentional considering it's trying to give the idea of a musical. They're trying to accomplish two different things, and they shouldn't be compared. The one by Man On The Internet feels like something taken straight out of a musical, this one feels like an actual, isolated song.
Yah, Chaos King felt like he had a far better buildup as you didn’t see him until the very end, and he gave you much more reason for wanting to fight him. Queen just does petty evil things not knowing the consequences of her actions (most of the time), even after Ralsei tells the roaring story she’s just like “oh crap ok I’ll stop lmao” Chaos King is a better fight because he just feels far more important to be fighting. But that’s just me.
King's fight is better when it comes to dodging attacks. But compared to what the Queen fight has, King doesn't have any use for the ACT button; it's literally just survival.

Do you have a version where you don’t sing it?
That would literally be plagiarising the Remix.
