- iPhone 16 Pro has bad ratings at T-Mobile, way worse than expected & the Pixel 9 Pro kills it! BUY PIXEL 9 PRO HERE! howl.link/p8pv... (affiliate)
The iPhone 16 Pro has a user rating on T-Mobile of 2.8 out of 5, which is pretty terrible and way worse than I expected. On the other side of the coin, the Pixel 9 Pro has almost twice the score, with a user review score of 4.8 out of 5. I think this speaks volume towards the Pixel 9 and iPhone 16 performance and experiences this year!

I switched to Pixel 9 pro from iPhone and its been so much better for me the iPhone is stale ATM
Same
The Problem is Apple is coasting off old trust and old good reviews and they keep making the same phone 📱 over and over again at some point you get so bored you feel like you’re being messed with.
🎯
I was so sick and tired of Apple re releasing the SAME phone every year. So I switched to Pixel 8 Pro last year.
I switched from the iPhone 15 Pro 2 the Pixel 9 Pro XL and I don't regret it at all and can't wait 2 see what Google does next with the Pixel 10 Pro
Me and my wife are switching from apple to google phones this week!
All the best
I have noticed an uptick in the number of Pixel phones I see in the wild now. Mostly 8s and 9s, but I do see my 7pro occasionally.
You in the US?
Yes. Northeast@@asianstud7
i switched from 14 pro max to pixel 9 xl. wow. u basically lose on nothing switching to pixel. camera is top notch battery rocks too.
That's how I felt when I got the pixel 8a I still have my Samsung foldable but I love the camera on the pixel
I just did the same from an iPhone 12 Mini.
The only reason I hadn't done it sooner is because I was worried about the ecosystem, since I use everything else Apple.
As it turns out, it is not a bad transition at all! Google Messages can easily be accessed on a Mac.
Yeah people don't realize that they use a lot of google stuff, i switched to the z fold 5 last year and it was no hassle at all. Just use smart switch and boom. I still get to use apple music and access my icloud account. I have imessage as well when I need it.
512GB 16 Pro Max no regrets!🤙🏼
iPhone to me feels dated now and they really need that 17 change to camera layout even if it’s like the pixel. iPhone needs change badly
Definitely with ya guy
I didn't switch from Apple but upgraded from the P7 to the P9P and very happy with it.
Google will win in the end because people demand a phone that is actually SMART ❤
We need smarter people not smarter phones. Half the time Gemini can't even perform simple task that Google Assistant got right.
@@jevonsims900android in general has becoming "easier to use" while still keeping it's complexity which i like. I like how you have options in the android world when it comes to form factor and manufacturers. Shitt I'm typing this on a z fold 5 rn. I was a lifetime ios and when I switched to the z fold 5, I realized I was missing so much.
I have the new Google Pixel 9 Pro 256GB as my primary and a iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB as my secondary. Love both but they each have their pros and cons. I would’ve gone iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max but Apple had no good deals for it this Black Friday. I was able to trade my Google Pixel 7 128GB w/ T-Mobile who are crediting me $500 for it so I ultimately pay the remainder $500 for the Pixel 9 Pro over 2 years. So not a bad deal in my opinion.
I just made the switch myself after being a lifelong Apple user.
I actually did purchase a Pixel 6a a few years back to use as a camera only alongside my iPhone 12 Mini as my daily driver.
Lo and behold, one day, the iPhone crapped out, so I temporarily switched to the 6a as my main phone, eagerly awaiting the iPhone 16. I actually enjoyed using the 6a, and the learning curve wasnt bad at all, since i had been somewhat using it for a few years already.
After being completely underwhelmed watching the keynote, I decided to use my scheduled AT&T upgrade to grab a Pixel 9 Pro XL, and I wont be going back! I absolutely love it.
The only hesitation i had was the ecosystem. As it turns out, it is not a bad transition at all!
Google Messages can easily be accessed on a Mac, and alll iCloud stuff can be reached on the Pixel.
Def using my Pixel 9 pro Xl on the daily. My 15 pro max is my secondary phone
I absolutely love the pixel tablet concept and I would like to have a pixel tablet 2!!
I'll take my P9Pro over my 16Pro any day. Iphone works just fine, but is terribly boring...can't split the screen for budgeting and banking when reconciling my accounts etc. Lots of little things like that make an android phone phone the better deal. Plus the whole Siri as an AI actor is a joke!
Apple tried to sell the iPhone on AI, but Apple’s AI is inferior to Google & Samsung's AI. The 16-series is not much different from14-series.
I’ve got a 14 pro max and Mac mini m1. I see no reason to upgrade to the 16 pro max because of Apple Intelligence on my Mac mini already.
Because liking or disliking on a carrier page means anything …Dummy yah
I have both and I gravitate more towards my iPhone. The pixel 9 Pro XL is a great phone, I just prefer iOS over android. I’m actually thinking about selling my 9 Pro XL because I usually only use it for the cameras and hotspot; but the 16 pro max cameras have improved a lot this year. All of the pics I’ve been taking lately on my socials have been from my iPhone.
Nothing wrong with both phones. For most people both phones would do the stuff they want very similarly let’s be honest.
I switched from iPhone 16 pro to pixel 9 pro and it has been pretty good
I am a Pixel user, iPhone still better at some things, but at least on US they get iPhones just because 🤷
My 16 pro max is constantly dropping calls. Uploading anything sucks. Apple decided to use the Qualcomm X71 modem instead of the X75 and it has been trash. I also noticed ever since Apple adopted eSIM signal hasn’t been very good.
Ive always had quality control issues on google hardware products.
This is very wrong go on line rite now the 16 pro is over 4 stars everywhere
It’s not just about the benchmarks being better, it’s about the Tensor processor not holding up well over the.
People reviewing the IP16 are most likely historic Iphone buyers and thus comparing the IP16 to older iPhones, so they are used to very good phones. Pixel buyers are likely historic android customers with a less satisfying experience than iPhone buyers. Their satisfaction bar is much lower.
Maybe so.
Not necessarily.
Most reviews/comments on the Pixel are from ex-Apple converts than people switching between Android brands.
😂😂😂😂😂.. 😑😐😐😐😑 .😂😂😂😂OK!! ,
The absolute cope lol..
That's horrible when you are chewing something and get a crunch that you know instantly is bad news.
Yuuuuuup. Not fun at all
It’s the ecosystem that keeps me with Apple devices. My Apple Watch has done good health features and unfortunately it’s tied to having an iPhone. Apple laptops are decent as a developer laptop, and I can take devices to one of several Apple stores close by if there is a problem, or I can opt for express replacement if I have AppleCare.
Apple also provide updates for quite a long time, I got burned by lack of updates in the past with android phones.
I also like that providers can’t put their own crap on apple devices. Back in the day that was a big reason why I made the switch to iPhones.
Overall I do feel iPhone and IOS quality are getting worse over time, but nowhere close to being bad enough to lose out on the benefits of other Apple products I own.
It’s not the phone man it’s the software
The iPhone 16 Pro is undoubtedly a great phone. I have an iPhone 14 Pro myself, but have now parked it and bought a Pixel 9 Pro. I think I would be disappointed if I bought a new iPhone. That's because it doesn't offer anything new that interests me. The Pixel is a more exciting phone that already has AI and I like the look. The camera setup looks more modern than on the iPhone which now looks a bit old-fashioned.
I'm going to wait for the pixel 10 pro...the perfect 10?
I am excited to see what their own in-house processor combined with tsmc manufacturing can bring to the pixel 10 pro! I will most definitely be trading my pixel 9 pro in towards the pixel 10 pro when it comes out
Great informative video as usual........but do you use a case whenever you have a skin on your phone? I have the cyber punk skin on my P9P XL and it feels better out the clear case but I stay nervous like that. Just wondering.
Fine pride in your accomplishment and not your phone.
I read reviews for the iPhone read them carefully a lot of of them complained about getting damaged phone, or unsatisfactory with salesman. Not the product itself.
It happens.
iPhone is great never had issues
I think Apple Stores are debatable. If the product was the legit, you wouldn't need a specific store to constantly fix and repair.
They're not there for service and repairs.... they exist to provide "a great opportunity to upgrade"
Apple stores are the Gucci stores or the tech world😂
Apple seems to look the same since iOS 7. And I have a Pixel 8 which takes better photos (detail mostly) in low light than 16 Pro at the small cost of dynamic range.
Thank you,useful informations.
As a long time here, Android user ever since day, one of the first Android phone and they've add androids all the way up tall. I have the S24 ultra. I also have the iPhone 15 pro. Max and I don't have any issues with it. As far as like the heating problems, stuttering, problems I've actually gotten I think Max was 13 Hours 13 and a 1/2 hours of on screen time off my battery. It currently have 386 charge cycles on it, and it's. I think at 86% so I pretty much use both Android and iPhone I happen to be one of the ones that actually love my idols. And that's why I didn't even go with the sixteen
Apple users are suckers for imessage, they don't see anything else. Most people are terrified to switch for this reason only.
I switched to the pixel 9 pro XL and have zero regrets. Great phone and brilliant camera
I am not an Apple user but I noticed you continue to hash the same type of videos giving lots of phrase to Google but trashing Apple. I never understand you tubers making these type of videos trashing a company constantly. Seems like it is really "cool" to trash Apple because they are the majority and Google is the underdog of the phone market. I figure it gets you the views for your channel but gees. People experiences are different and I have yet to hear any widespread issue with the Iphone 16 or even other phones. Based on how many google videos you posted seem like you should be paid by Google for your marketing. I guess "team pixel" is a thing. If not they will not send a free pixel phone.
Agree Gemini is way better than Siri im using that all the time thank goodness i can install that with my iPhone 16 Pro Max so that I have both now Siri and Gemini😊
Im not a huge tech dude but i just got this phone and its killer. It actually feels alot better than apple alot faster and it works better
I consider myselkf to be somewhat of a techie and had been using some sort of apple phone for around a decade now. I finally decided to swap from last years Iphone 15 pro to the pixel 9 pro xl. The Google phone is a breath of fresh air. over the years I felt like ios started to get more and more buggy for every major os update. plus the phones felt more and more of the same as the years went went by. I'm happy to say pixel os has been a breath of fresh air. it's been bug free from the start. the phone is rock solid and stays cool to the touch. I can't see myself going back.
He hates him some iPhone.
Definitely not
When I was growing up it was always talked about how smooth and fast iPhones were but my user experience has not been that. My s24u and pixel are so much more snappy, fast and smooth than my iPhone. They are so snappy that it almost makes the iPhone feel lazy and clunky with its animations and navigating the phone. I have had more hiccups and lags with my iPhone in the last month that I have with my s24u since January. I think people have just never used anything except an iPhone so they don’t know any better and still think it’s the gold standard. Even typing this comment my iPhone can’t keep up and the words are lagging onto the screen after I’ve typed them
The only thing I don't like about my pixel is the processor is not that good for emulation. But on the up side. I get access to custom roms that allow you to lock the bootloader. And these increase the life of your phone by a bunch.
The thing is and I’ve said it before, google doesn’t sell their phones in all markets. So for us in New Zealand we can’t just go to a physical carrier store and get a pixel. We have to do importing and have more hassle with warranties so for me never been worth the risks
Luckily, I was strongly leaning towards switching to iPhone 16, but thanks to your videos, I'm now thinking about the Pixel. But my Note 8 is still hanging on by a thread...
For me the pixel 9 pro xl is a Very good smartphone as the the 16 pro max …
Both are state of the art
If I hadn't found that Apple Watch is best in class for health tracking and fitness, which is very important to me over the past 2 years, I would probably go back to Pixel. Luckily my iPhone 16 Pro Max has been stellar with no issues at all. Battery rocks, cameras have been great. But I do like what the Pixel 9 Pro has brought to the table. If Android could just produce an accurate fitness watch.....
Thanks for sharing Adam.
I’m not saying the Apple Watch isn’t very good, but if health and fitness is really that important to you, consider getting a Garmin. Apple Watch is smartwatch first, fitness second, Garmin is fitness first, smartwatch second plus it works with iOS or android.
Just something to consider if you are really into health and fitness and would like to not be tied down to Apple.
@ I did try a Garmin watch for several weeks and returned it. Its sleep tracking sucked and I’m not a marathon runner or running trails in the forest somewhere. After watching several videos by a scientist on RUclips, Apple Watches are the most accurate for several categories every time. The new Pixel watch is fairly close but has some issues. I decided if I wanted accuracy I might as well go
With the best per this scientists tests
I then compared it with my Samsung watch and it was night and day better.
You have to give them credit they made a really good phone using Samsung as their chip manufacturer.
I am a big Android fan, been with android from the beginning, but switched to I phone, battery life with Pixel is just bad, plus I have Mustang Mach E and android just sucks with electrical vehicles, I get the all Camera thing with Pixel but I am at the point I just want consistency and just want things to work, and Pixels just not there
Apple to me is falling behind the competition. Samsung, Google, Oneplus, and even some Chinese brands have better options with newer features
Still think the iPhone is more bang for your buck people are just tired of the same design but what’s the point of changing the design if there’s no reason to other than for the sake of satisfaction. They could completely remake the phone and it still look the same doesn’t mean it is the same internally lol my 16 pro max is a beast compared to my old 12 pro max. iPhones just feel more premium to use and that’s what draws most in which is a totally fair reason to stick to something.
You sound like someone who hasn't tried anything different.
iPhone really is the better phone. On iPhone I can have both Google apps and iOS apps on the same phone. Almost every new Pixel AI feature makes it's way to Google Photos on iOS.
@@jevonsims900 what is a good iOS equivalent to Google Photos that's compatible with all devices?
There's no way the iPhone 16 is "bang for your buck" 😮💨
Like I've said before, releasing something not fully complete will always hurt. I mean...releasing this "new" iOS stuff HALFWAY through the cycle towards the next iPhone? Jinkies.
Another great review
I have the bug with ios 18.2 that reverts siri back to the old ios 17 siri, and I lost all of my AI features lol. Apple apparently knows about this but didn't tell anyone. I had to call in to get told that its a bug. Really regretting my 16pro max purchase. I've had more problems with this phone and ios than I did with my 12pro max or 14pro
Blackberry back in the day is better than iPhone in my mind.
Looking forward to 2025
I wish oneplus would bring back their phones to carriers for those of us that can't afford to pay cash for phones. I have a galaxy flip five and a pixel eight pro.And those are my go to phones. I have a Galaxy S22 on my A. T and t account. I have an old 1 + 9 in lavender. Love it, but it's no longer supported with major upgrades. Plus I got that when T-Mobile was selling it.
My Pixel 9 Pro XL was way better than the 15 Pro Max & S24 Ultra, but not as good as the OPPO Find X8 Pro camera especially. 😊❤
#TeamPixel !
Odd. I own both the pixel 9 and the iphone 16 pro max and no issues whatsoever with the products themselves. The shopping and trade-in experience with the pixel were kind of bad however.
I have the iPhone 14 that I bought when it first came out and my opinion theirs not going to be to much of a difference between phones that’s a year or two old I’m going to hold on to mine for maybe four or five years so I can see and feel the difference from the iPhone 14
The pixel is just a better deal
I’ve been saying for the last year, if Apple doesn’t make their phones smarter they could fall the way all the best tech companies have in the past. The fact that the Gemini app is now available on iPhone & ppl can start to realize how stupid Siri truly is, could in theory be the bomb that brings theGiants down. Could you imagine anyone on earth downloading SIRI? 😂 yet I guarantee you millions have done so with Gemini already. Does that mean anything? Idk 🤷 We shall see.
I have the pixel 9 pro came from the pixel 8 theres alot of things done better on this one no doubt my only gripe with this phone is it loads certain things slower then my pixel 8 some feed in some social media take forever to load on 5G and its actually kinda annoying at times if it is the modem would of thought they fixed the issue but other then that the pixel 9 pro is very snappy !
I think I think I think I think.
Interesting article- watch out for them mints though. 😉
for me gaming performance does so apart from the raw power of the a18 pro i will always for the pixel 9 pro xl period.
Someone told me that sometimes when youre out in public, the pixel will ask you randomly for your master pin in for "additional security measures". Thumbprint wont work, face unlock wont work. You are forced to put in the pin.. wtf. Is this true?
Never had that happen on my pixel.
the iphone does the same thing, it requires the pin occasionally, especially if it detects a different face than usual
Floss is giving you shout outs.
Pixel is rated much higher
Apparently they got a lot right with the stills and videography both
And their upload and download video polishing gig apparently works like a bomb
for certain reviewers it's a clear cut case of no compo
I just can't bother watching it. There are so many better ways to get clicks. I suspect that you don't plan to make a Vedic on how pixel beats Motorola or how it beats one plus. It's a shame you make great videos doing your best to be part of a divisive topic is honestly beneath your abilities. I see your main goal is to be a part of the tech community that thrives on driving wedges between people. This is why tech RUclips is much less appealing than it once was. It may for a time increase your views but at some point people will be tired of the negativity and drop you just like we drop the fanboy tubers. its a shame because you make great content when your focus is on a review and not on the continuous I love Pixel more than any other manufacture, anyone that tunes in knows that and that's fine. I can't believe anyone cares why you think Pixel is better than iPhone anymore, same old crap video after video after video, without exaggeration. People think Jason T Lewis, he does not make videos everyday but when he does they're honest and he tries to bring the tech community together not drive them apart.
Looking a little too much into this I think. I thought it was interesting so I shared it. Calm down.
Bro wrote a whole essay - get a life lol
If you don't like this channel watch something else.
2.8 lol
Apple will still sell 200 mil Iphone 16s while Google will sell less than 10 mill Pixels. Apple doesn't give a shit about a few reviews from carriers
Cool story
Lol man people defend apple like they care about you.
Hey another video slamming apple how original 😴
He's actually telling the truth though. Plus he owns Apple products
oh yeah ❤🎉
once windows gets better or even to the mac it wont be a question for why will i shift it will be about how fast can i shft from this apple world
Apples Apple is Breaking ❤
Apple intelligence features are from open AI not google.
stop the pop up commercials
Apple needs to do better
Well, the residual value says otherwise...
Some ppl dont care about the value
Ill get the oneplus 13 when it get here i have the iphone 13 pro now
Yesss I love my ✨♥️ Pixel 9 ♥️✨
I left iPhone for the pixel
Trashing iPhone while being affiliated to google… wow 🤷🏻♂️
What?
Reviews mean Jack Shmitt
IPhone shill?
Why are they selling so well?
Because our man here never stops blowing smoke up its Pixel a**e.
Good question.
Apple bro you on the way out lmfao. 1st China ditched you. Then huawei out sells you. Samsung is out selling you. Now the world is saying you are not innovating. You are boring. You are not doing what good ole Steve wanted. Tim's not cooking.
Baffling. I must be missing something because your videos seem to sprinkle a lot of credit to a variety of brands on a job well done so I just don’t grasp the “this dude’s an Apple hater” comments. It’s a riot to see folks like yourself keep companies humble esp when they make micropeni$ sized changes and charge you $1500 for the identical product year over year.... You’ve burned Google and Samsung openly as well as calling out Apple on being lazy and you’ve been crazy accurate in your predictions of new designs year over year. Apple makes a great device and pretty much always have. It’s just painfully obvious they’ve slipped like -alot- with innovation and really idiotic iOS glitches are simply far more common and expected today than eg, Google’s current stock android. I own and use both. Apple was once the only polished, stable, reliable item for a long time but many, many users are realizing iOS is now wearing Depends and can’t remember the grandkids names. Keep the criticism and praise coming buddy.
😊👍
Careful with those teeth! 🙂
