Trying to learn Kerry’s song personally
@keirarara7946 Well, that comment is from 7 months ago. I'm much better at the song. In fact, I actually tried to record a cover of it yesterday, but my takes aren't clean enough. The song doesn't seem to have as much gain as one would think, so I spent like 10 minutes adjusting my amp and guitar so it sounded gritty and distorted, but not so much that it interferes with my actual playing.
I use Joyo Zombie pluged into 8" closed back Orange PPC108 speakerbox.. this video is recorded by a phone, so jsut those two, but when I record through the PC as you can hear in covers like Static X - The Only, I go directly from Joyo Zombie's FX Send into Focusrite and then use FX chain as such: Ignite Amps TPA-1 power amp sim usually with KT88 tubes, Lancaster Audio Pulse IR loader, with their Glen Fricker pack or Mesa Boogie pack and after that of course, EQ, if I feel fancy, SSL E-channel from Waves with Chris- Lord Alge preset, or if I wanna change the tone, as with Static X video, I used Studio One 4: Pro EQ presets
@@hellojohnwayneisthisme417 joyo is not very expensive… and it sounds massive for how small it is.. with 2x12 / 4x12 you can really fill a small stage with the band, bass, drums everything

The longer I work for the corpo, the more my thoughts sound like I already have Silverhand as main personality.

Yeah
'Cause we lost everything
We had to pay the price
There's a canvas with two faces
Of fallen angels who loved and lost
It was a passion for the ages
And in the end guess we paid the cost
A thing of beauty, I know
Will never fade away
What you did to me, I know
Said what you had to say
But a thing of beauty
Will never fade away
Will never fade away
Will never fade away
Honestly this version is lowkey a bit more of a banger than the original song
I like it great work Choom! 🚬🚬🚬 🔥🔥🔥 ❤❤❤

Sounds like Tool, the first riff before the variation reminds me of ænima ( the song )

These are the wrong chords but it sounds so much better
hes playing drop c instead of d
hell yeah
no clue how you get the fast muted double after the 202. I cant seem to pick it fast enough
Exact same issue I'm facing. It's starting to go away though. I think you have more time than you think you have when you hit those 2 muted picks.
@@markjackson1989 I tend to downpick to play the notes, but to play the 2 muted picks I find it easier to play down-up vs down-down.
