- Beavis and Butthead were a hilarious and huge part of my childhood. @MTV in the 90's was incredible from Daria to Beavis & Butthead and even the reality shows like Real World and Road Rules.
This video looks at the Beavis & Butthead 2022 revival and compares it to Beavis and Butthead episodes from back in the 90's. Beavis and Butthead episodes were incredible back in the day, but will they be funny in 2022?

I loved Beavis and Butthead growing up in the 90's. And I LOVE this revival! It hits all the right notes while not feeling dated or even too modern. I'm so happy with what I've seen so far!

The reboot is just as good as the original, I like it
I started watching the First episode. And it did NOT start well. These two girls need 2 guys to solve the Tomb mystery and they see what CLEARLY are 2 childish morons getting drenshed by milk. And STILL think they are Smart enough to help them (4 have to attend), just comes across as idiotic logic.
And when Beavis/But-Head chose the door the the right... when it CLEARLY states "The Mummy's Tomb" on the door to the left... I had enough.
I got the feeling this show is NOT made out of good I spiritual comedy. Like the original series. But to get a nice pay check out of it.
I'm DISAPOINTED
They needed them because the Escape room requires 4 at a time, my guess is to make their money. Also they kinda established in the original that beavis and butthead can't really read. But your complaints are valid for sure.
Still, that 2 decent looking women would at ALL choose THOSE two to do the Mystery room, makes No sense.
Would any 2 women do this in real life with that choice ???

So I don't expect everything in an animated series to make sense. But the way its done in the new B&B is just immersion breaking.
It's clear that the inspiration and idea/ story writing in the original is tottaly lacking this time. I was shocked in how "dead" it was.
Mike Judge should NOT have done this. Tarnish his legacy for a quick buck 🤨

iCarly is not failed reboot. It is successful. It's already getting a third season. Fuller House was also a massive hit for Netflix. Those are not good examples of "failed" reboots
