gale banks actually did an experiment where he determined that a flat diff cover (like the one on the dirtymax in the video) causes more friction in the differential. First "mod" he should do is put it back to stock or get a cover that resembles the stock cover rather than run a flat cover that robs power

A factory cap That belongs on a truck will not affect your fuel or airflow that is why the cap fits in a little bit right up against the back of the truck. My 2004 cat eye has had cap on for over 200000 miles. The only thing that hurts is for Crosswynds it’ll knock you in the next lane over

Powerstrokes are quick up top. Raced my buddy's Cummins and he had me off the line, but we got up to like 40-50mph and I started coming back and passed him. Cummins are all low end, and Powerstroke is more high end. I want to get a more efficient torque converter to help the bottom end out a bit because I feel like I'm losing power there.
Both trucks had the daily tune the 6.4’s factory compound turbo is good for making power especially tuned. But don’t break it they are stupid expensive to fix. But neither would have a chance against a tuned 6.7 15 up ford those are beast and the new 17 up dmax if you can afford the deleted tune it’s a will also be a monster GM give diesel owners a big FU on that one to tune
You should buy an aftermarket 10th RV cover thing they settlement Harbor Freight it's like a mini house you could do a double or single is probably perfect for you where you live with the small in the rain and the Sun you should get a double so you can park two cars mostly because your truck is big as hell
If Steve’s f450 still has the factory turbo setup, the 6.4 powerstroke engine uses a compound turbo setup straight from the factory, and makes more consistent power all the way through the rpms... That is why he was pulling away from you on the top end
I have a 08 f450 bucket truck with 182,000 miles, and almost 9000 hours. Honestly I love it. But I know any day it’s going to let go. I don’t think I’d ever buy one though. They are just to expensive to work on. It will out run the Duramax kodiaks.

Just a little FYI every additional 1 lb of rotating mass is equivalent to about 8lb of fixed mass (not moving)
